CapnFreedom Posted Tuesday at 10:17 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:17 PM I've been taking my new Pyro controller to the Hami Raids on Everlasting for about two weeks now. Using an EoE inspiration is supposed to help protect your pet from the mito/Hami damage. If I use the EoE while an existing CW is active, despite it being within range of my controller, it does not share the EoE benefit. When I recast CW after it gets obliterated, the new iteration has an active EoE on it (the same one my controller has 'eaten'). When I click another EoE during the same raid, the newer iteration does not share the EoE benefit. Thanks for reading.
Lunar Ronin Posted Tuesday at 11:59 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:59 PM Essence of the Earth inspirations only protect Mastermind henchmen. They don't protect Controller and Dominator pets, nor Lore pets. That is intentional.
CapnFreedom Posted Wednesday at 02:58 AM Author Posted Wednesday at 02:58 AM (edited) OK. Then I found a bug that gives the EoE benefit to a resummoned CW while the owner has an EoE active on them. I guess I never noticed it when I have a Singularity or Reverbrant at raid. CWs get too much attention or get too close and the yellows' damage just melts them. I think this is WAI, although it's an obscure effect. EoE effects for Masterminds will automatically spread to their henchmen, but other AT's pets don't get the same benefit. However, when you summon a pet while you have a buff active, many of the various buffs will propagate to the pet (I don't know off the cuff which ones, and don't want to level all sorts of ATs and builds just to find out). Apparently, the buff from an EoE is one that does.
