Dark/TA/???

Angel of Mons is now 40.

 

I say that and wish I was 40 again like many of you reading this. But that's another story.

 

I've unlocked the patron pools so I've access to everything.

 

I've taken Hover because that's absolutely thematically necessary and I will have to take one of the fly powers and I'm also getting good results with Combat TP so maybe a couple of the powers from there such as Combat TP and TP Foe

 

I've taken Soul Mastery as my PPP but I don't especially like it as a fit - Leviathan, with a bit of suspension of belief and colouring might be a far better fit and I've always liked Sharkskin and Bile Spray. But I'm open to suggestions on most of this.

 

The question is now, what should I be thinking of longer term? She's pretty strong in a group and even if I get ganked I can often give good account of myself given a moment to set some defensive powers up.

 

Slight End issues, but with better slotting that's less of a thing. I'm less worried now than I was and incarnating can be considered down the line but I like this as a character so intend to develop it more fully in time

Between Flash Arrow and Fearsome Stare (slotted for -tohit), nothing should be hitting you. TA gives you a lot of slotting flexibility, since several of the powers don't require more than the base slot (Entangling, Glue, Poison Gas, Disruption). In selecting an epic, I would probably focus on adding damage. If you stick with Soul Mastery, Dark Obliteration is pretty good. Don't know if it fits thematically, but Fire Mastery is another option.

I'm struggling with a build. I thought I'd got something good but it proved to be a bit disappointing. Lighting OSA has been a challenge to date. I've only had Apprentice Charm to do it for most of that journey and on SBB that's not viable.

 

I've been working in Mids and I can't divine easily how much I'm debuffing To Hit which is the main strength of this toon - is there a way to do that?

 

I'd be interested in seeing your ideas for a build.

 

I should also think about incarnate powers and I'm curious to know what you good people recommend

I think this is how I'd go about Dark / Trick Arrow, adapted from my Grav / TA (and taking stuff from my Ta/Elec Defender and Water/TA corruptor. I like TA)

 

I find Mu the best for a TA controller, easily lit Oil Slicks + a great armour which will take the Resist uniques (although I went RoP and squeezed one in there instead)

 

Decent Ranged def, once you throw Flash + Fearsome on them, early procced Ice Arrow + Arcane Bolt (+ Shadowy Binds) for single target damage and a nice hybrid Heart of Darkness.

That's a nice build actually. It's king of Procs. I would have to swap out Shadowy Binds for Living Shadows but it has given me something to seriously think of
