Looking for an expensive Claws/SR build.

Hi everyone,

 

I've just returned to Homecoming after a few years away and was originally planning to jump back in with a Brute. However, I've decided to go with a Claws/Super Reflexes Scrapper instead — something fast, sleek, and deadly.

 

I'm looking for a high-end build (no budget limitations) that can tear through +4/x8 content like a buzzsaw. If anyone has a build they’d be willing to share, or even just some guidance in Mids to construct a tricked out destroyer, I’d really appreciate the help.

This build might have endurance issues so worth testing first and adjusting if it does, but should give you an idea of how to slot.

Here is mine.  It is half concept as I didn't want my claws shooting stuff but instead my eyeballs.  So I skipped focus and shockwave, which is pretty blasphemous really.  But it is indeed a buzz saw.  Generally runs Focus, swipe, slash, swipe.  Then repeat.  They all fire super fast.  As little recharge actually in focus as possible so the crit chance fires as much as possible.  Can easily switch a few things around for the more optimal attacks.  I really do like the new animation option for energy torrent.

 

He almost never dies, never runs out of end, and kills quickly.  Admittedly would be better with focus and shockwave, but it is super fun.  I have a claws/rad scrapper that shoots stuff from his claws because of radiation I guess??? 

 

I may reroll and try ice mastery instead, but having panacea proc and two power transfer chance to heals keeps whatever minimal health you might lose topped off.  

 

As long as you get melee/ranged/aoe to 45 or more and DDR to 95% it's kinda hard to mess up the rest with SR.  I kinda aim for a bit higher so that if a couple debuffs do get through, you're still at the softcap anyway.

I haven't played a Scrapper in a long time and was debating between a Scrapper and a Stalker. CLAWS/SR or DB/SR,  but I think I've settled on Claws because I enjoy the speed and flow of the set. Just want something with great damage and is fun to jump in and slice and dice.

@Bill Z Bubba hasn't been around much lately, but he posted his build a while back.

I haven't officially looked at Bill's build, but he's offered feedback on one of mine, and I saw enough posts by him to where I figure we are down to personal flavorings. I was still tweaking before my current break and settling on things.  My point is, he put so many hours into his build and he had money to burn, so he's a s good as anybody to borrow and steal from in terms of a build. I don't think anyone in CoH player history is more associated with that combo than him.
