Accelerate Metabolism different now?

I'm a returned player from Live and have numerous characters.  Started a new Mercs/Radiation Emission MasterMind.  AM doesn't seem to be working as I remember it from live.  I know it never was as fast as the empathy Recovery Aura, but it takes several seconds to start and can take up to 30 seconds to "fill" our endurance.  I have to stand still for that to happen because if my pets continue to attack, it hardly affects endurance at all.  It is six slotted with Preemptive Optimization.  So, am I remembering it wrong or is something else going on.

The power recharges faster than recovery aura, it also lasts 30 seconds longer. It also buffs resistance to end drain/recovery debuffs, buffs your recharge rate by 30%, and your damage by 15%.

 

Recovery aura has a superior end mod recovery effect but only lasts for 90 seconds.

 

AM is the superior power.

 

As a click based power pbaoe, it doesn't cause a residual anchor on you, it only hits the targets in range (you probably know already but the pets aren't affected by recharge buffs) which is 25 feet and affects up to 255 targets.

 

Are you sure there aren't any other debuff effects on you while you're noticing the issue? Are you fighting live mobs, or just draining end by fighting a training dummy?
