I tried, originally, to get as much positional defense as possible, but that turned out to restrict my build more than I liked, so I settled for hitting the recharge thresholds for perma-Hasten and perma-Light Form, though just barely, as well as getting as much Psionic resistance as possible. This is without any incarnate abilities, haven't decided what exactly to go for with this guy.

I'm mostly looking to see if I missed any easy recharge bonuses, or if there's more Psi resist that is on the table. Pretty sure I got all the useful unique IOs in there, but let me know if I missed anything.

I do know that I'm missing out on 6% Psi resist from the Armageddon six-slot, but I think the knockback->knockdown is more important.

Mid's Datachunk in the spoiler.

Dont waste time chasing full sets for psionic resistance, you are completely gimping your damage by not putting damage procs in your attacks, a dead enemy cannot fight back,

Also Impervium Armour 6% is not unique and like a LOTG you can slot 5 of them across a build. Do that instead if you want some psi resist. use the slots saved to get some damage procs in there.

Pick up cross punch, because that gives you a small recharge boost and is a great space for armageddon %fire, FotG %-res and FFB % +recharge

GLowing Touch isn't going to do much for you, you can drop that tbh. You might also consider tactics, because the added +tohit means you dont need to slot so much accuracy in your attacks and can therefore boost your damage more with procs.

Impervious Skin unique is pointless

Panacea proc needs to be in health not reform essence

swap regenerative tissue for miracle +recovery

You should aim for 1 Achilles' Heel proc in your rotation.

I would pull slots from Inner Light and potentially photon seekers.

You could also consider not slotting any KB-KD in your single target rotation attacks and pick up the teleport pool for combat tp, then if KB does occur you can instantly port to them to continue, just an idea.

Hope this helps, look forward to seeing your next iteration ❤️

Proton Scatter/Incandescent Strike/Solar Flare all do have damage procs in them - I haven't neglected them entirely.

. . . I did not realize that was non-unique. I don't think I have the slots to use those to replace the 6-slot bonus on things like Ragnarok and Positron's Blast, given that would require an additional slot expenditure that I'm not sure I'm willing to give up.

I despise cones, and melee ones even more so than ranged, so this is not gonna happen.

I've greatly enjoyed having it around, especially for saving the asses of lowbies I happen to be teamed with, but now that I'm swapping things around, it's clearly not worth it. And if I fill the space with one of Quantum Shield, I can mule 6% more psi resist, and make it so I have some buffer on all my non-psi resists against debuffs. (Only worth actually running it when fighting enemies who debuff, though.)

It's hard for me to call a regen bonus useless, but I think you're right that it's not worth the slot.

I originally had the Panacea proc in Health, but then for some reason I thought it was one that works regardless of what kind of power you put it in, which is pretty blatantly wrong, so I have no idea why I thought that.

Miracle +recovery is unique, and is already slotted in Restore Essence. (And that one is one that works no matter where you put it, rather than having a ppm.)

I like having perma-build up, plus the proc is nice - but I can pull the pure to-hit IO out of Inner Light and free up a slot that way, since it's mostly eaten by ED.

Photon Seekers . . . Hmm.  If I pull one slot out of there and remove the 6% psi resist, I'm going to want another Impervium Armor to replace it, and my build as I'm typing this already has one in every Resist set capable power I have. (Incandescence/Quantum Shield/Light Form/Tough). If I had another resist power, I'd probably move the slot and 4-slot Expedient Reinforcement into Photon Seekers, just for the additional recharge bonus.

That's not there for me, that's there for the rest of my team - making people chase down launched enemies is just rude. (I'm pondering a second build/slotting set up where I would slot for as much knockback as possible, just for my own amusement, though.)

Doing the changes I've mentioned above, plus going down to four slots in Lightform (Res IO, 2x Recharge IO and Psi resist now) has freed up a couple slots to use to three slot Hasten and Conserve Power, so I don't have to burn a whole bunch of Enhancement Boosters on them, *and* improved my Psi resistance from 53.7 to 67.5, which isn't bad.

I absolutely love glowing touch. Mine is a paladin in concept though so he took other such powers as well.

I don’t have kb/me in the single target ones. If I knock it back I’ll kill it. You have ranged attacks as well.

I originally had the Panacea proc in Health, but then for some reason I thought it was one that works regardless of what kind of power you put it in, which is pretty blatantly wrong, so I have no idea why I thought that.

It does work in any power, it's a global proc and I have had it proc when I have it slotted in other powers, personally I have Essence boost 6 slotted with the proc and it still works all the time

Preventive Medicine is the Global that can grant you Absorb regardless of where you place it.

Panacea is a (3PPM) Proc that only functions in the power you stick it in.

Miracle +recovery is unique, and is already slotted in Restore Essence. (And that one is one that works no matter where you put it, rather than having a ppm.)

It doesn't work like this, unless you plan on dying every 120s to reactive the proc. It needs to be in health.

Anyway, this is how I would play human only if I was held at gunpoint

Reason I would run like this is because damage is king and you can plug the psi hole with barrier and insps. It's is much much harder to add as much damage as easily.

I know you said you hate cones, but Cross punch is to be treated as a single target attack that might occasionally hit more if you're lucky. I wouldn't necessarily fish for line up, just fire it off. It is there to provide a bunch of powerful proc effects like extra -res and purple damage proc. It will reliably proc +rech too from FFB and give you a permanent 5%.

This is just for you to see the other end of the spectrum when it comes to building a human only PB.

Gah, I'm going to have to check the wiki for every single special IO, at this rate.

Most of it makes sense, but giving up Luminous Strike is just *weird*.

I have knockback -> knockdown in Solar Flare and Dawn Strike, since those are the abilities that throw things all over the shop.

You mean incandescent strike? The big jump up in the air two hander one? It's 3.3s animation. It's too long and doesn't hit hard enough to warrant spending that long in an animation for my liking.

It also takes hold sets and has a 20s base recharge time, so you can proc the Smeg out of it.

Still wish they'd give it the Total Focus animation though...

Yeah I did look at it, it;'s just such an obnoxiously long animation. Could easily swap out the crappy proton scatter cone for it tbf.

FWIW, mine looks like this at present:
image.png.14945ed3c2ef647111e7a7543e75cb9e.png

That works out at a hair over 226.63 DPA; before anything fancy such as Achilles/FoTG procs, Hybrid Clickies  or "short term" Inner Light w/ Gaussian.
Purely in terms of raw DPA it's actually a bit ahead of my Dawn Strike (although obviously still way behind a procced Radiant Strike!)

image.thumb.png.021859ece159e74419effa7e4e30e32a.png

"Cross Punch" can also be used instead of Solar Flare in the above rotation for a smidge extra DPS, but it requires giving up too many powers for my liking.

Build below in case the OP finds it useful. It's technically a Bi-Former; but Dwarf is only really used for Tanking and set bonus muling.
Peacebringer (Bi-Form Pulsar) [+4].mbd
(95% Hit Rate vs +4s with "long term" Inner Light buffs active. Perma Inner Light; Perma Light form, Perma Essence Boost; Near Perma Hasten. Self-sufficient without Ageless Destiny.~40s Dawn Strike recharge. etc. etc.)

All my khelds are full changeling so it's all academic to me 😂 can fit a lot of attacks into 3.3s of animation time.

Fair enough 🙂

I hate the constant graphical barf of the changeling exploit far too much to play one; but seeing how far you can push a Human Form's chain makes for a fun exercise IMO.
Perhaps one day the devs will finally get around to tackling HEATs... 🤞

Gah - that was supposed to be Luminous Detonation, the ranged aoe.

Thanks to everyone for all the good advice.
