NorseStar Posted September 4 Posted September 4 As soon as you cross the fence into Warburg you become tagged as Vigilante regardless of your Alignment. Hero, Villian, Vigilante, or Rouge. You can kill ANY player including those who are the same pre entry alignment. You can not use the Global Friends list to invite players from underground. Specifically near the Forcibly Evicted Exploration Badge. You can only invite in that area by either touching the character or using the search, selecting Warburg, then scrolling and inviting. You can Global Invite if the player is out of the zone and be invited from out of the zone. You can also Global Invite from the area near the Nuclear Exploration Badge. If you have a team and try to add another player with Global invite the reply will often times state a completely different Global Friend as being hidden or offline than the one you had originally selected or it will not even give you Invite to Team as an option. Regular team build rules are normal as far as which alignments can team up. After you are on team I do not know which alignment you appear as. It’s just green from both team view and as an observer. We tried this several times with all different team builds to try to break it down as well as we could. We also tried to replicate it in all the other PVP zones and they are all behaving as normal. I do not mind the “Arena Zone” surprise and were it not for the Global invite weirdness I probably wouldn’t have mentioned it at all.

That is how the zone is set up. If you talk to the NPCs, they warn you that Warburg is a free fire zone. As in everyone can attack everyone else. That is very much intentional. (Edit: Basically, Warburg is set up so that only players on your team are not a threat to you. So if a team member suddenly disappears from the team roster? Check your back because odds are you are about to get an unhappy 'greeting' from the former teammate.) Edited September 4 by Rudra 1
NorseStar Posted September 4 Author Posted September 4 Is it Only Warburg then? I tried killing myself in the other Fire Free zones and I can not kill a Hero with a Hero in any of them other than Warburg.

So yes, it is only Warburg where that happens.

I specifically avoided making comment on that because I have no clue what is going on with that. My intent was to help you understand what is the deal with Warburg as opposed to other PvP zones.

NorseStar Posted Sunday at 06:32 PM Author Posted Sunday at 06:32 PM But I can. In every zone, including Warburg, except for this one area.
NorseStar Posted Sunday at 06:33 PM Author Posted Sunday at 06:33 PM I was also able to do it successfully up until roughly 3 months ago.
NorseStar Posted Sunday at 06:35 PM Author Posted Sunday at 06:35 PM I wish I paid more attention to when it stopped working.
