Glengoyne559 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Returning to Homecoming after a long lay off. I'm working on a Dark/Electric stun tanker. I had an old build, and have been leveling up. I've just tackled FrostFire, and while evaluating new powers I see Obscure Sustenance. Based on the description, I think this might be a solution to Dark Armor's endurance woes. Is this too good to be true? I mean Dark Regen is a great heal, but I'll skip it if I can keep more toggles more of the time. What say you Homecoming? Do I stick with the traditional heal or embrace the new cool toy? Because I am just starting out, I grabbed the Heal, but I've got a re-spec in my back pocket.
Psyonico Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago My gut feeling is that if you are stacking stuns between Opressive Gloom and Lightning Clap (or Hand Clap or Fault) the sustain that OS provides should be "good enough" in most cases. My Dark/Stone tank already has T4 Cardiac, so I didn't feel a need to respec into OS. I suppose I could try it with my Dark/SS though. What this team needs is more Defenders
Jacke Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I've looked at this as well. In some ways, Dark Regeneration provides almost too much Heal, but does so at a high Endurance cost. I was told that now it's better to take Obscure Sustenance while Levelling and then at L50 respec into a build that uses Dark Regeneration. OS provides Recovery, Regen, and ToHit and Recharge Debuff Resistances besides its smaller Heal, which works without needing to hit an enemy. I'm considering sticking with OS even at L50, because especially with builds that cater to Exemplaring down to run WSTs, the broader effects of OS may just be better overall. Remember! Let's be careful out there! SAFETY NOTE: If Leader not on Map holding the Mission Door, First Toon through the Mission Door will set Notoriety. Hold until Leader on the Map!
