I built an Electric Armor/Radiation Melee tank exactly as outlined in @America's Angel build.  Now level 50, Veteran Level 20 with incarnate abilities of Alpha: Cardiac Boost (so no end problems) and Hybrid: Melee Radial Genome (so no regen issue unless I get really unlucky).  I built this guy to AFK farm S/L, usually the 54400 map which has a 10-minute timer.  I can clear the map at +4/8 in 8 minutes if I pop a complete inventory of damage inspirations and continue to combine other inspirations into damage ones and pop those throughout the mission.  Not exactly AFK but all toggles on (including Irradiated Ground) and Atom Smasher on auto.  The original post of this build and suggested map indicated, IIRC, a haul of about 80 mill per hour?  Did I just read that wrong?  I have seen others claim this in the past as well.  I am making more like 24.4 mill per hour.  I either misunderstood the potential (highly likely) or something got nerfed?  Any ideas?

Maybe it was also accounting for the value of recipe and salvage drops during the farming process. Not sure how old the post you're referring to is, but it's also possible that influence gain from AE in general or from mobs with that particular combination of powers was reduced.

Please see the attached build below.  But even though I have to babysit and keep eating reds in order to clear the map efficiently, I'm still not making nearly as much influence as expected.  That's my main issue.  I was just wondering what changed?

The 24.4 mill is with recipe and salvage drops having been sold through the AH and AE vendor.  Scratching my head on this.

Are you just selling the recipes or are you crafting and converting them?  Influence per hour is also highly variable.  If you get a lucky streak with purples, you can greatly exceed 80 million per hour.  If the RNG is unkind, you can go well below 80 million.

Good point.  I am just selling the recipes for the sake of time.  I will try crafting and recalculate.  I don't get many purple recipes on map 54400.  Do you know of an S/L map with better drops?

Do you know a better S/L map that is untimed with good drops and/or influence?  I've been running map 54400 (Asteroid AFK map).

Tanker AoE damage has plummeted recently (due to the new "overcap" mechanics vs >10 foes; and the lower proc rate from moving their AoE radius increase from a global buff to a baked-in value) to the point where Brutes are generally superior even versus >10 foes unless you're getting external damage buffs (such as popping damage insps like candy). As a result they're still OK for active farming; but not for passive (AKA "AFK") farming. They can survive just fine, but their killspeed isn't great... which makes Tankers a safe option for AFK farming, but not a particularly efficient one.

FWIW... an average haul on my AFK-farming RadM/Stone Brute (which is the combo that is AFAIK by far the smoothest ride at present) is on average about 80m/hr including drops (I'll typically AH anything worth >100k; and just NPC-vendor the rest). And since it's possible to have have three such toons going per non-busy server shard; multiply that by three (or by two plus an active farmer if you can be bothered... as a good Active Farming toon will defeat things about twice as fast as an AFK toon!)
However the aforementioned Brute outputs considerably more damage than AA's Elec/Rad Tanker when AFK farming - so even without popping any insps (enter map, hit Hybrid + Destiny + Lore + Judgement, then wait) they'll clear the bulk of an Asteroid map in ~5-6mins. So I'll generally use a map that kicks you out after 5mins, not after 10.

Well this is fantastic, even if disappointing, information.  I have a spines/fire brute built out and am now adding incarnates.  I'd really like an S/L farmer, too.  Any chance you'd share your RadM/Stone build or where to find something similar?

There's a variant three posts up in the thread linked above (here!)

...but the damage output is still roughly 40% higher (see here) than AA's 2023 Elec/Rad Tanker build.

It's a Fire farmer though.
If you're after a melee S/L farmer; then you'd probably be better off looking at Active Farming builds than Passive/AFK.
There're some decent options here and here and here.
