Marshal Valor Posted yesterday at 09:21 AM Posted yesterday at 09:21 AM When it first came out for tankers I just didn't like it. It was just way too squishy. I had heard it did and if so how is it now? I've also been wondering how it compares to invuln. Marshal Valor Commander of the 1st Fist of Light
Psyonico Posted yesterday at 02:29 PM Posted yesterday at 02:29 PM It hasn't changed in the 6 or so months that it's been out. I haven't found it to be particularly squishy, though I admit it's a bit of a late bloomer. What this team needs is more Defenders
lemming Posted yesterday at 05:11 PM Posted yesterday at 05:11 PM My level 50 Regen/SS tank is pretty tough and I didn't even take all the advantages a Spaghetti Build would have. I find if I'm fighting anything at +1 and below, with most mobs, I don't have any problems just sitting there. At +4, I have to keep an eye on things, but if I cycle thru various clicks, I have zero problems. Tanked Lord Recluse the other day and the only danger there was the endurance drain. (which I got tips to avoid later)
Warshades Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago It's no invuln in terms of just standing in the middle of mobs and not even having to pay attention to your health (if your invuln is built for max defense/resists), but it can be made powerful enough to tank just about anything at +4/8x if you want. Much like Psyonico said, regen is a late bloomer and benefits a lot from set bonuses. Being able to cycle between Rune of Protection from sorcery pool and melee hybrid incarnate slot can give it a lot of durability and help in maxing out resists.
