Peacemaker Season 2

Loved the first season.

This one, not so much.

 

It’s too bad we didn’t get the same level of unhinged craziness from Vigilante.  He was one of my favorite parts of season 1.

 

I was expecting much more from the alternate universe.  It felt more like they were just teasing us with it.  Then when it finally started to get going, we get the big reveal, and then it just sorta gets wrapped up.

 

A couple good action sequences sprinkled throughout, and then everything came to a screeching halt with the final episode.  
Which of course ends on a cliffhanger.  Not a big adrenaline fueled, action packed cliffhanger, but a “limp across the finish line” cliffhanger.  One that left me very disappointed, and wondering if there was supposed to be one more episode to have the show go out with a bang.

 

Having said all that, it wasn’t horrible.  It had its fun moments, but they seemed to have really dropped the ball this time around.

Hmm, exact opposite reaction here 🙂  Liked the first season, loved this one.  And for me the season effectively ended at 7. The finale is more an epilogue+intro to the next bit of the DCU. Dropped the ball?  Not as far as this viewer is concerned. Welp, mileages vary I suppose.  Let's see what's next!
