Logansan Posted yesterday at 06:23 AM Posted yesterday at 06:23 AM I have a issue with Custom Windows (the ones created by the /custom_window command). Everything in the file works correctly (Macros, Popmenus etc) however starting from a few years back the location of the window started to appear near the top-left corner (but not right in the corner) of the screen. This was regardless of the starting location recorded in the file itself. I then had to manually move it to the location I want it each time I start the game, where it then stays there until I quit the game. It was annoying, but only a very minor issue. However, since the update today (Issue 28, Page 3) it now starts right in the very top-left corner of the screen (0,0) and as soon as I click on it (to move it) it jumps back to it's old starting location before today (0.3667 0.7167), then I have to manually move it to the location I prefer (0.3651 0.7454). More annoying now, when I do first click on the window, more often then not (about 75% of the time) instead of allowing me to move the window, the buttons in the list quickly start to be deleted. I've tried everything I can think of but I can't resolve the issue. Setting the file to read-only does stop it from permanently making changes to the file, however to get it to reset I have to quit and restart the game each time. Attached is a copy the Custom Window file. Custom.window Anyone know a solution? Ukase Posted yesterday at 04:03 PM Posted yesterday at 04:03 PM I use a custom window. And I had to remake mine for reasons unknown to me. (after the patch) It's always been finicky, and likes one corner or another, and as you say, seems to prefer the top left. When I log a character in, and move it where I want it - it will stay there for the duration of the gaming session. I do notice that every time I'm teleported, or zone, if I want a portion of the macros to remain visible, I have to re-scroll to that portion of the window. Not a super big deal. As for your problem, I can only advise you to remove it, and remake it, and perhaps it will revert to its previous still finicky, but less annoying state. But, sadly no guarantees. 1
