Game glitches when i check my browser

Hello, My friends and i share links. Lately, every time i Alt to check my browser for a link, i can't come back to game. The screen just flashes and i am unable to do anything but CTRL ALT DELETE and close everything.
Sometime even restarting my computer doesn't fix the issue.

Please figure this out. This is so annoying.

If even restarting your computer does not let you back into the game, I would say check your computer. I can tab in and out of the game all I want right now.

i got back in after i verified files a few times and restarted a 2nd time
but i still had a flashing glitch when i pressed the button for the login screen of game

 

the main issue is that when i am in game, and hit the windows key to flip to the browser i can go to the browser when i try to go back to game, it flashes where i am in game. i can't do anything but CTRL ALT DELETE and close everything

my computer is up to date
game files are up to date

It is still something on your end. I just checked your stated method of using the Windows key, I prefer to just use Alt-Tab, and I had no issues changing out of City of Heroes and then going back into it. Make sure your anti-virus is up to date and run it. Check your computer for memory leaks. Check to see if there are background processes eating up resources or causing errors when you do that. It isn't the game. (Edit: Especially if you can't get back in the game after a system reset. Maybe check your drive(s) for bad sectors.)

i shut down computer for a while, came back, checked face book, closed browser and tried getting into game and the glitch happened again... sigh

 

i scanned my computer, nothing came up.

how do i check memory leaks?

 

checking drives now, i think i remember how to do that

i responded but it's hidden for some reason.
i checked drivers, made sure windows was up to date, made sure game was up to date, ran a scan with webroot
nothing popped up

 

not sure how to check for memory leaks

Do you run an antivirus program?

Does it have cleaner or optimizer feature? Run it.

 

People say that it doesn't make any different, but I would suggest going into any browsers that you use and clear the cookies and history.

 

After that reboot.

 

If you use Windows, see if there are optional updates. In rare instances, those optional updates may be needed.

 

I'll go into the City later and check on this use of the windows key to toggle out of The City.

I use Alt-Tab and have no issues.

i have so many projects up in my browser, clearing it would throw it all away.

 

i can't even get into game now, the launcher will pop up but as soon as i try to load login screen, it just flashes

i hate windows 11

i went to update windows area and the basic update thing was up to date.
i had to go looking for the option updates, which is no longer on main screen. 
there was one, i installed and restarted.

i got back into game
i alt tabbed to open my browser and when i go back into game, it glitches

i don't know what to do

I did the memory dump check and let it do it's thing, it restarted, not telling me if there was an issue

ok, restarted comp again. opened up game, got in.
found a friend, we talked about the issue
they asked what my Screen UI Resolution was
it was 1920 x 1080
they said to try Borderless Monitor

...

and it's not glitching
