MegaloRob Posted Wednesday at 11:03 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:03 PM My brother and i have gotten back in. We were heavy during live back in the dad. We are both playing arachnos soldiers. And we are trying to focus on doing story arcs where we are loyal soldiers of arachnos. There are the epic archtype specific missions every now and then. But mostly we are comparing contacts against a wiki to see what story arcs fit with our themes. So my idea is to streamline this into something like daredevil and the hand. Daredevil can take on other villians but he has a longstanding beef with the hand. So if i want a toon to have longstanding beef with the Hellions i would like to set that. Then have the hellion specific contacts reachout to me. It would be great ifnthis was annoption at character creation. And even better if there were story archs that only were available if you have that beef with that specific enemy group.
Psyonico Posted Thursday at 12:52 AM Posted Thursday at 12:52 AM Its not a bad idea, and I think similar things have been requested. The only issue I see is really there are only 3 groups of enemies that cover most level ranges, CoT, Arachnos, and Council. Most other enemy groups are only in a small range of levels. What this team needs is more Defenders

Hellions level is pretty low, so you they pretty much gone after level 14 unless you are running a contact's arc after their cut-off level and + the character's notoriety level or you see higher on the streets somewhere. You can the cut-off point in the Magic Origin arcs in this thread (that I'm updating far too slowly). Otherwise, you would need to craft AE missions with Hellions as the enemies. I'm unsure if there are already Hellions specific AE missions or not; I never looked into it. If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore. (It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications) Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case. But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable. Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.
