Cross-posted in Typos but this is primarily a design issue.

The Enhancements tray label has been changed to "Enhance". I'm advocating for it to be reverted.

As far as I can tell, the space this saves wasn't needed and the changes are distracting.

This new label is out of place with the rest of the content in the toolbar. Every other label is a plural noun, and "Enhance" is a verb. Aside from being a mismatch, the use of the verb implies that clicking it is taking an action (such as manage) but it's just a view.

The padding between the labels appears the same as before, so this change also caused all the options to the right of Enhancements to shift to the left, which does cause some cognitive friction.

Let's return to the original design?

Thanks for the attention.

This is a suggestion, not a bug report. The change was intentional and is working. I don't like it any more than you do, but that doesn't change that it was intentionally done, making your request a suggestion or feedback.

Edited to add "or feedback".

I'm accustomed to referring to this type of thing as a bug even if it's intentional. But I understand that bugs vs. feedback can be murky from one place to the next. I'll post it over there if that's more fitting.

From the 12/16 patch notes:

Miscellaneous

Adjustments

  • Shorten the 'Enhancements' link on the tray to 'Enhance' to avoid overlapping with the collapse arrow of powers tray.
  • Don't hide Convert link in the enhancements window if you don't have converters.
