Make Super Bases Great

Hello Team,

 

Here is a few stories I'd like to see implemented.  I would like a way to make bases more impactful for SGs.

 

Given I am in a SG

When I am in the Super Base

Then I can implement an AE Portal

 

Given I am in a SG

When I am in the Super Base

Then I can implement Portals to numerous locations / areas

 

Given I am a user in CoH

When a player clicks my name

Then they can Teleport to that users Super Base

 

Given I am in a SG

When I have a League of x members

Then I can teleport all to my Super Base

 

Given I am in a SG

When I am in the Super Base

Then I can add new NPCs with features such as P2W, Vendors, Library etc

 

Given I am in a SG

When I modify the Super Base

Then I can select different sky SFX

 

Given I am in a SG

When I am in the Super Base

Then we have the option for Base Raids (again)(Who misses base raids...)

#1, #2, #4, #5, #6 are all already implemented.  #3 is probably not going to happen due to balance concerns and #7 is a very complicated system that hasn't been updated since issue 13, so I'm not even sure how much of the original raiding code is left.

id love to see the AE option in the base where I can make my missions and enter them all from the base,

 

id like to see more skies too or even change the idea to skies and environments

 

would like to see raids again but seen the gm's comment =D

 

also would love the base grid to be even bigger if that is possible

Implementing 7 would require limiting what a SG base can contain.

That would require restoring Prestige prices for all SG bases - including rent, but especially construction costs.

That, in turn, would require wiping all existing SG bases out, entirely.

 

THAT, then, would present SG bases with a lot of heavily-used storage to scramble to find a way to "hold on to" those stored things until the SG base could be rebuilt .... or face losing it all, when the base is deleted.

...

And that?  That last thing?  Would really, really piss off a whole LOT of players.

I wouldn't mind prestige coming back gives everything a purpose again and we can then reinstate the leader boards, as most people checked them back on live

I'd be okay with re-adding Prestige for bases.  If it became an issue maybe there can be a toggle for "Base is Raidable" and "Creative Mode" so those listed as Creative doesnt need PRestige but they can't be raided as well.  Give people the option of both, could be interesting.

yeah those in creative wouldn't go on the leader board but those who aren't on that wether they raid or not would go on it, I think that could work well but obviously its implementing it

Prestige isn't coming back.  I am confident that's non-negotiable.
