MagicDrop
I play homecoming but I notice in the launcher there is homecoming beta paragon chat and Freedom. What is the difference between each version of the game?
PaxArcana
Homecoming, and Homecoming Beta, are here, where you are now. (Beta is for the Test Server, Justin.) Freedom and Paragon Chat are other COH-related things, that all share a common launcher: Tequila. Global Handle: @PaxArcana ... Home servers on Live: Freedom & Virtue ... Home Server on HC: Torchbearer Archetype: Casual Gamer ... Powersets: Forum Melee / Neckbeard ... Kryptonite: Altoholism
MagicDrop
Ah so they are just the regular game put out by a different person?
Williwaw
Paragon Chat, as its name suggests, is just an XML chat program that uses CoH as the chat client. You can't play the game through it. I don't see Freedom as an option, I see Titan Icon as the fourth choice (which is just the costume creator).
Retired Game Master GM Capocollo Posted August 4, 2019 Retired Game Master Share Posted August 4, 2019 (edited) Homecoming - the game Homecoming (BETA) - the testing server for possible upcoming changes and trying out high-level characters Titan Icon - a standalone costume creator, see https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Titan_Icon Paragon Chat - a separate chat client, see https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Paragon_Chat Titan Icon and Paragon Chat are not developed or supported by Homecoming: Titan Icon's costume list is slightly different than Homecoming's, and Paragon Chat does not communicate with the Homecoming servers. If you're looking for support or help with using them, go to https://cohtitan.com. Edited August 4, 2019 by GM Capocollo
