Burnt Toast Posted May 4, 2019 Posted May 4, 2019 This is the build of my Empathy/Ice Defender. I have decided to call Indominatable my home server. Because I already have Fire blast characters there (Burnt Toast [Fire/Time Corr] and Burnt Reynolds [Fire/NrG Sentinel]) I decided to make Fixxer an Emp/Ice Defender. I actually think /ice lends itself to the whole Fruit Salad Defender concept more because the attacks have slows/holds etc. I also like having two holds. My focus of this build is mainly recharge and perma Adrenaline Boost. I have been using him as a pocket Emp with a friend and his scrapper and blaster... works really well :) So here is Fixxer.... Regular Freeze Ray does almost as Bitter Ice Blast, and Bitter Freeze Ray does even more than BiB (though it's damage relative to time is still rather low). Regardless, Freeze Ray might be worth slotting for a bit of damage, too.

The slotting I have in freeze ray is to extend the hold time (which you cannot do with bitter freeze ray) as well as the 4th enhancement bonus of recharge time. I love being able to hold bosses easily. A note on (Bitter) Freeze Ray...it looks like they both got a damage buff (massive, in Freeze Ray's case).
