Has anyone tried this with the Safe Mode client?  If it works correctly there that would be valuable info for the dev team to help track down the problem. as well as good info for players so we can switch to using that client until the possible issues with the newer build process can be resolved.

This is a server-side problem and not one tied to the client, so you don't have to test it in different versions of the client.  We're aware of the problem and are working to resolve it as soon as possible.

Ah, I wasn't aware you'd already isolated the problem enough to know it was in the server code.  Thanks for the clarification.
