Something like clicking that chatballon icon to go to the first post writing since you last visited the thread? 

 

Only of course If it isn't hella complicated to do of course.

Um.  Clicking on the chat balloon DOES take you to the first unread post of that thread, since you last read it.

Yeah, I've had that happen to me once.  I think I clicked it before the whole page had fully loaded?  Maybe?

 

But generally, it works fine.  🙂

The reason for this is because you have already read the latest post in the thread you are trying to view.

 

The chat bubble will only show if there is a new post in that thread which you haven't read.
