  1. Please tell me he has a chain of seafood restaurants. 😂
  2. Finally filled out a whole dealio on Monster Detective over on FBSA, complete with new AI art I've done this weekend. Monster Detective - FBSA Wiki (homecoming.wiki)
  3. It’s so weird, but we’re in early days of this stuff. Sometimes it gets it perfect the first time out, sometimes you have to do 1,000 iterations just to get something that approximates what you’re asking for. Last night I never could get it to understand what I meant by an exoskeleton. Just kept giving me metal bones, no matter what I tried. One thing that would improve the usefulness of these algorithms would be the ability to select an element from a generated picture to replicate in subsequent images. I don’t know how often I get a character right but the scene is wrong, or that there’s a random item in the background that’s cool but nothing else is suitable. If we could just pick out that one thing, whether it’s a character or an object, and use it going forward, it would change these programs from a toy into a tool.
  4. I like how she’s flying between worlds - 1940s western city on the left, older middle eastern city on the right. That second pic though… oof. She’s sitting on the gas tank and those handlebars are the very definition of random shape. It’s so weird how it does things like this. I’ve done some pics the past couple days which are interesting at first glance but upon closer inspection the characters have extra hands or melted faces or random things sticking out of people.
  5. What is his and/or her name? In the meantime, please meet Dread Panda Roberts. (Eyepatch optional.)
  6. Tried creating some Norman Rockwell-inspired pics with superheroes, and the ones in the soda shoppe were delightfully wholesome. As soon as I placed them in a playground things took a turn. This is the prompt: Norman Rockwell style, two little kids dressed up as pulp superheroes in a playground I'm captioning this first one, "I shot a man at recess just to watch him die." "So I told the dame, 'You mouth off again and you get the back of my hand.' She sent me to bed without supper." Spengler & Robin
  7. I like how it has the explosion behind him yet also reflected it in the glasses. 100% Michael Baysplosion. 😂
  8. I can't get it to not add extraneous details. It also appears to remember your previous prompts, because it frequently includes things from them. The only semi-workaround I’ve come up with is to close it, wait a few minutes, then ask for something completely unrelated. Then I go back to my original ask. That works maybe a quarter of the time. For example, I asked for a superhero in the style of Vitruvian Man, which it never really did, so then I tried creating my Jumping Jack Slash character who is just a pumpkin head with arms. And for some reason it started giving me four- and six-armed versions… just like Vitruvian Man. So I closed it out, came back and asked for a hippy hero, then asked for Jack again and it gave me a regular biped. Weird. Jack: AI versions: Hippy reset: Back to Jack:
  9. I tried the Runway Gen 2 that’s supposed to animate your photos and I was less than impressed. All it does is distort the image in very weird ways. Maybe in a couple years it’ll be interesting, but I don’t know how they think they can charge money for this. It’s pretty terrible, frankly. Here are two of the pics I tried it on. https://www.instagram.com/p/C3G2-_lteO8/?igsh=aGpmd3pranlpM3g1
  10. Did you ask for colored pencils as the style?
  11. I tried “action figure” for a couple and those were cool.
  12. I put Mellowstone in the other thread, but he belongs here. Keep on truckin, brother.
  13. “Say hello to my little Samoas!”
  14. Fabio still getting work!
  15. Does Sox need a pet cat? We have several varieties currently in stock at Trike’s Robo Emporium in Skyway City.
  16. I’m going to have to try this. I’ve accidentally received turnarounds but never asked for them. Last night I was goofing around with keywords like “orthographic view with annotated schematics” and it included “art station style” in the pictures. Bit of a surprise, so I leaned into it. One of my robot characters was created by Percival Perry, so I tried asking for “Percy Perry PTY 1885” and some were actually pretty good.
  17. It’s weird how it has trouble with some characters. I’ve made some female drow warriors in Bing, so it doesn’t have a problem with it. What I *have* discovered is that sometimes the order you ask things makes a difference. For instance “hero flying” returns different results than “flying hero”. No idea why, other than maybe that’s how the training images were tagged. Upload a game screenshot of the toon and we can give describing it a go. Here are some of the ones I’ve made: Prompt: art station style, photo realist, a female drow elf warrior with white hair, pointed ears, and deep black skin tone Prompt: art station style, cel shaded, dynamic pose, full body, a female drow elf archer with white hair, pointed ears, and deep black skin tone
  18. Do you prefer Fantasy or Science Fiction? Tavern or bar?
  19. This was the first thing I saw when I logged in last night. 😂
  20. I recorded how long it takes. This is pretty typical. Added a bit of music for fun. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C28k2oUO2rG/?igsh=azZ4cjlicTNwN3Aw The prompt: “art station style, a steampunk duck in a dungeon, spraying robed cultists with water” The results are AWESOME. Edit: BTW, you can see I have zero tokens. The indicator is at the end of box where you type in the prompt. Having tokens prioritizes your render, I guess, and they seem to refill every day.
  21. Those look great. And I have to compliment you on the name “Draculad”. Brilliant! Wish I’d thought of it. Did you use Bing for these? I’ve found that it has definite blind spots when it comes to some things. I’ve given up trying to recreate many characters because it was just returning totally random stuff that was completely unrelated to what I’d asked for. For instance, see those short aliens in the swamp in the Space Patrol pics? I initially asked for them to look like a platypus. It gave me the most bizarre creatures in response. The most hilarious ones were Kermit the Frog-looking things, and it kept trying to give me alligators — even for the human astronauts! 😂 I eventually asked for purple and teal otters, which it liked better, but still rendered weird stuff. These are all from its idea of “platypus”. 😜
  22. I’ve found it also depends on the day and time. Saturday morning around 10 am Eastern it gave me the message “too busy, try again later”. But then in the middle of the night last night between 1 am and 4 am Sunday I was able to generate a hundreds of those Space Patrol images fairly quickly despite not having any tokens.
  23. I’m given to understand that Adobe’s Photoshop AI plugin Firefly was similarly trained on public domain art in order to avoid legal hassles. I’ve been primarily using Bing’s Image Creator, which often returns things that are suspiciously similar to existing art. I specifically did my Space Patrol series to mimic government art of the 1940s/1950s while using the prompt “1930s pulp” to try and avoid copyright infringement. Not sure I was entirely successful, but I gave it a go.
