  1. I really like Mind Control, have since the game began. I like the variety of the set, but I agree that its overshadowed by some other ones *looks at Earth*. I was really sad when the melee characters got Psi Melee/Mass Levitate. Mass Levitate definitely feels like it should have been a Controller skill: lift a group off the ground, and slam them back down stunned. Would at least help make fighting mechanical enemies a little less painful.
  2. Hey everyone, Back on Live, I'd started a Mind/TA Controller. I think I got her to about mid-30's, and recall loving it, before a medical issue forced me to stop playing for years before shutdown. I'm recently back into the game, and with IOs and Incarnate and all that stuff, I've wanted to create this character again. I know there have been quite a few changes on the Homecoming servers, so I'm trying to arm myself with knowledge. I do like being able to solo (doesn't have to be super fast) and that I can contribute *some* damage to a team (even if it is only taking out one mob per spawn, i'm happy). Mind/TA has some overlapping controls, and I'm wondering which ones are worth it to take given the mix. For example: Skipping PGA because I have Mass Hypnosis. Skipping Dominate for Ice Arrow's proc-out damage and Hold instead. Are these good ideas, or bad ideas? Despite having played for years, I still consider myself very new to a majority of the game - most of the endgame content I did was the PI arcs, and some of the Shadow Shard. Thanks in advance for anyone with advice on this rather odd pairing.
  3. I spent the last 3 hours reading this thread, and it has made me want to play Defenders again. I really hadn't since CoV came out and Corruptors took over as my favorite support/buff/debuff role. Unfortunately, the sets I most want to play (Nature/(Dark or Psi) and Time/Elec) don't seem like they'd support this style very easy.
