  1. @Michiyo, is it feasible to allow external images?

I'd like to use some animated gifs that I keep on other sites like Imgur, but since

Due to technical limitations, thumbnails of high resolution GIF images such as this one will not be animated.

I can't really do that with anything uploaded to the wiki.

    Spoiler

Basically I'd like to recreate/improve what I have on Virtueverse for Glyphica: https://www.virtueverse.net/wiki/Glyphica. I understand if it can't be done for a technical or security reason, but I wanted to ask before I gave up on the dream. Thanks!

Normally this wouldn't register, but for some reason it's killing me that someone with the bearing and gravitas as Lord Nemesis Mender Silos is making this kind of grammatical error.

I guess I sort of imagined his voice with a very posh, Cambridge kind of accent.

  3. Just a thought, it would be really nice to the animations from Ninja Run and Beast Run available for Super Speed, in addition to the No Effects option.

Personally, it makes me a bit sad to lose out on the unique weapon/shield stance from Ninja when going with Super Speed.

Maybe people would like to have a super-fast beast/vampire/etc type of character as well?

Simple thoughts for simple pleasures; hoping it's simple to add.

  4. Glyphica was my main on live.

I didn't play CoV much (never CoH) but it was pretty easy to recreate her from memory. I don't even know what server I used to play on... but I always loved the design.

She's got some art... and a VirtueVerse page (if you're into that sorta thing).

    Pre-emptive Responses:

Just so you know, this is called a rebuttal, and then counterargument. Just FYI since you're adhering to the mechanics of debate properly here.

"Other ATs have to sacrifice flavor for power too!"

Yes, but the difference isn't anywhere this significant.

To quote a great man: "Yeah, well, that's just, like,  your opinion, man."  Unless you can quantify this, I think you're falling way short in convincing folks of your counterargument. To get my Elec/MA to Permadom was just as easy if not easier than getting my /SS Tanker's footstomp down to 4 seconds recharge, or my BR/Kin Corr's defenses to softcap. It was almost built in in to how to optimize almost any character I make. Again, point being the significance of the challenge, not whether or not the challenge exists and affects your personally desired build plan.

"Oh yeah?  What about Petless Mastermind?"

...Is actively going against the class design.  In the pursuit of player expression, a player should still choose the Archetype that most closely adheres to their vision.

Including a Red Herring in your rebuttal? Not sure why as it weakens your overall argument, but okay.

    Quote

I don't like your use of words like "Optimized" or telling me what's required to be "Good"

Cool, just don't project your opinions on me.  This thread is about objectively bad game design.

Do you mean "don't share your opinions with me?" Because this is what it reads as. If someone were to project their feelings onto you, that would mean they are upset about something else, and using this as an opportunity to vent their frustrations at you. Also, "objectively bad" is an oxymoron, use of which undermines your argument.

Hey, don't actually care about your beef with domination. If it gets changed for the better, great. Right now I see it as a one of dozens and dozens of weird game design issues that the overwhelmed HC devs are trying to work on. Maybe they'll get to it? Dunno.

My issue is that your debate process needs some work. You got the fundamentals down, but I think you need to step back a bit and separate the emotion to really get your points across stronger.

  6. No I don't, cause you're totally right. Went over my logs and saw exactly what you said.

I think I was fooled in combat log by there being no activity around me and PT:Heal proc'ing back-to-back, but there was always a 10 second interval between them. So probably...when I glimpsed it I just saw a stack of heals from PT all happening within the same minute and thought it was same time.

Then you can resize you your heart's content.

Sorry, I really should have been more clear in my original post: as 0th Power said, I'm looking to be able to see more mail at once, not resize the other portions of that window. That can actually be done while it's still docked, but all you effectively accomplish is the ability to see more of the body of the email. Not super helpful since most emails are just items being shuttled and has no benefit for the account items window.

  8. Title.

Most of the windows that pop "up" out of the main chat window can be resized. For some reason, the Email/Account Items window cannot.

This is a pretty trivial request, but gets pretty frustrating when shuttling items between characters or when looking for items you've kept for a while after opening Hero/Winter packs. My hope is that it is similarly trivial to incorporate.

So for a 3 PPM proc that can't stack you will see the following performance in autos:

1 PT Heal: 3 PPM (50% chance at a proc every 10 seconds) | +15% HP per minute

2 PT Heal: 4.5 PPM (2.25 PPM each, 75% chance to proc every 10 seconds) | +22.5% HP per minute

3 PT Heal: 5.25 PPM (1.75 PPM each, 87.5% chance to proc every 10 seconds) | +26.5% HP per minute

4 PT Heal: 5.9375 PPM (1.4375 PPM each, 93.75% chance to proc every 10 seconds) | +29.6875% HP per minute

This looks about right for me too.

I did slot all 4 of my 'Recovery' powers on my SS/WP/EM Brute with PT:Heal: absolutely no regrets. I'm still way above on my End/Sec; having Perf Shift or EndMods slotted was total overkill.

On the flip side, I'm now proccing a heal every 10 seconds without fail. Usually it's 2 at a time, occasionally 3 (show in log, but not floating text).

Only thing I might do based on the feedback and testing done here is remove the PT:Heal in Physical Perfection and put RT:Regen back in that spot. Should give overall better returns on healing.

  10. Thinking of doing some heavy retooling of my SS/WP/EM Brute (I know, different forum but was searching about this proc) and was considering slotting it up to 4 times (Stamina, Recovery, Sup. Conditioning, Phys. Perf.). Why? Basically even unslotted, these power combined give me more end than I really need, but they fit the theme. So I'm trying to get the most bang for the buck, and building on WP's superior passive regen sounds like a winner.

    Questions for the collective:

    1) Is there any limit to how much these can collectively proc? I am assuming no.

    2) Can two of them proc at once?

    3) Is this a great idea, or the greatest idea?

I also have toons stopped at veteran level 100 with XP turned off to gain double INF through regular play.

I'm in this boat too, and a little put-off that I'll see my normal play on my main have income reduced just to smooth out inf gains overall.

I also don't want to turn on exp again and ruin that nice round "100" vet levels. Feels bad.

So there was something more severe than having level 54 bosses jump on my head while I get coffee and I come back to 115k influence per?

I think it's how mission creators in AE could stack powers into that boss to make them worth more than the normal amount of exp/inf per kill than your run-of-the-mill, usual content boss.

But those powers didn't really affect your farmer, because they were all fire-based.

Now that doesn't matter as much.

This gives me 2 Defense auras, a Resist aura and maxed damage and recharge, as well as plenty of accuracy to make sure they actually hit.  With double manuevers and Support Hybrid running, the pets are basically defense capped.  The Disruptors and Striker are perma with more than a few extra seconds of leeway and the whole crew does a great job of spreading aggro while basically never getting hit.

Saw your comment, and it reminded me of a conversation I recently read in the Discord #arachnos-soldier channel:

I'm a newcomer to the AT, so I don't know who is right here, but just wanted to point out that you might not be getting that bonus you think you're getting from Support Hybrid.
