I do not care at all about stories in MMOs. I always forget, misremember or only remember certain bits like Countess Crey having visible nipples_through_clothing and getting killed and replaced by a lookalike. That said I do not remember what I did with The Radio or the Television or the dude in the cartruck in any amount of detail without googling it. Wanna know the only SSA I can recall offhand? The one with the fake nem farms. Thats it. Oh and the one where superman dies
I love MMOs for the grind and rpg growth feelgoodtimes. Hitting up a nice smooth non-speed synapes at level 15 but leaving at level 28. or doing it as the wst on a 50 that has 8-10 bars of patrol exp to gain a vet level, a nice chunk of merits and an alpha rare thing whos name escapes me now. Or taking my twinked bard to slaughter goblins for 6 or so hours solo singing songs of pacify, haste and crippling. or logging on my wookie sharpshooter with a bio-engineered rancor pet dicking around Rori harvesting some good spawning leather while it lasts.
I LOVE task forces for that same feeling of character growth, for both experience and currency, but Red Side is built for skipping and speeding everything as well as overdesigned horse shit that borders anti-fun territory. As a mastermind main I look at every single SF with disdain and disgust.
Virgil: that outdoor mission to find the construction workers is just a pain in the ass due to being CoT debuffing to hell or teammates blowing it up by the time im done animating my summons. On top of that the last mission was not built for masterminds in mind. That one slow moving flaming testicle preferring to stay in the burning hot pet-fear causing lava is enough to why even do this WST when heroside has more plain jane ones.
Mantis: that last mission on the boat with fire patch and toxic patch spitting turrets that cause pets to run in all directions including the Z-axis to just fucking die
Kal: i dont know why we still have unlockable task forces in the future but we do
Renault: the last missions water spouts just throw minions everywhere. and when their AI takes over to climb back up they will run into another spout. basically taking the pets out of the fight
And again with the final room crap: ice mistrals rube goldburg room of resummoning
And lastly, i fucking love mayhem missions so much. safeguards suck.
And im not going to get into the unfun villain groups from the -resist stacking goldbrickers and wailers to the superfast super accurate slags only because i got bored typing

on one hand i have a thousand or so posts about minor things that i would like changed
on the other hand the kheld vanity posts are getting to me

4pt will protect you from most of the games knockback
8pt will protect you from higher level things (+2 or so) like 5th/council robots or rocket/grenadeers
12pt is a little overkill because if you get knocked back by something it was most likely designed to knock anyone down.
that said my ranged do fine with 4pt
and my dark/fire armor melee do fine with 8pt
i dont do 12pt anymore on recent wave of respecs

My point was anytime there is a carrot on a stick, no matter the quality of the carrot, someone will go above and beyond to get it and go just as beyond if they dont get it.
I also do not know if this Class Checker thing still works if someone leaves/quits mid-TF

there are few group leaders as it is and putting this added level of pressure on them for a prismatic sounds worse than the holy trinity
even looking at the requirements makes me grind my teeth since both of my khelds dont even have dwarf form anymore
it takes careful planning to have a fully ranged dominator
you have to go out of your way as a controller to not be classified as a support character
the base damage on khelds non-squid attacks are so low
what is my Wolf Spider build with a Bane power(buildup) classified as?
So unless ATs spread out more to cover more notches this sounds like a bad idea and it just gets confusing with build specific stuff like all epic ATs
Like, everyone LOVED the Tanker melee damage dmg/range increase patch
Scrappers still have taunt and some taunt auras. oh and khelds dont have a taunt aura still
Most people select Corrs because of their secondaries. While Ice Shields and chill doesnt sound very support-like people love that fire n forget crap
argh beast. ninja and necro masterminds
maybe instead of using Archetype symbols you can change that up to the character creation symbols of Melee, Ranged, Support and maybe Tank

Change Heavy Blow to Shocklance. Basically Bayonet with a Taser.
Or whip out the old blaster Taser animation

Can Storm Cell move faster?
Jet Streams repel is the one thing stopping me from making more Storm alts. And even if the Repel got removed there are still debuffs and damage effects lost from a slow moving Storm Cell
And if that cannot happen, how about an animation trimming + recharge reduction in Storm Cell to force it around.

The only thing I want changed in Storm Blast is removing the -repel in Jet without having to wait on Storm Cell to move

Leave it as it is and your only option is a Fire/Trick troller for damage
Few complained about tanker damage since their buff, and they are just supposta tank according to old MMO/RPG mentalities

and your sample size is one accolade of seven and for one character
another variable is peoples tolerance for firefarming. i personally can only do it once or twice a week if that. using the extreme of some dude who does it 24/7 aint right

You would be surprised at how much 10-25m can add up considering how many accolades there are and how many alts we have
and if you have just one character and zero alts with 3 firefarmers you can be excused from your own example because thats the only way i can see your point

Exploration Badges
what are the rules with this?
do they stop at a certain level?
is it each exploration badge or just a zone-cluster or whatever its called?
do you only get the patrol exp with the tip?
im fine with having over 500 exploration badges because thats 50 levels worth of rested exp and or maybe lots of vet levels or maybe downloading that maps addon so you can hit up exploration badges while on a task force on the way to missions really maxing gains per run im not hyyperventalating typing this
