  1. Well, you can't have it be PPD--villains and all--but if you absolutely can't have a gun drone for whatever reason, a general merc, I guess.
  2. Ehhh, keeping it simple--Gun Drone is already a pet and all.
  3. Honestly, what I'd like is to take the riflebutt/bayonet powers from VEATs, along with several grenade based abilities from critters and get a Grenade Control and Rifle Assault Tear Gas, Web Grenade, Stun Grenade, Sleep Grenade, Flashbangs, Glue Grenade, Incendiary Grenade--they could have as many tricks as Mind, capping it off with a Gun Drone pet. There's honestly not any real options for 'natural' (without superpowers) control sets.
  4. Will say this in regards to the issue as well--there is precedent for this in live, in how they reworked travel powers
  5. I love the idea of getting Epics early, but ehh, I'd go with them as they're designed now with T1/T2 immediately available--I don't wanna be 'forced' to take the first one. But yes, opening up Epics early sounds awesome.
  6. As for an inherent, buffs are stronger when applied to them. Would be able to make the pets 'make' the build, without breaking the game in teams as the buffs could be weaker.
  7. The pets *are* the support powers, though? Or at least, they're the ones providing the support. This AT wouldn't get direct support powers, that's their deal.
  8. Honestly, I think the pet and attack sets would have to be in separate powersets for this--the pets as the secondary support set. It's also a nice flip as a number of existing ATs are. So you could have a Forcefield support set that gives you bots, Necro with Dark, Beasts with Nature, Ninjas with Ninjitsu/Kinetics, Demons with Fire, etc.
  9. Something inspired by the game series of the same name. A melee pet class, with the Overlord taking a more direct damage dealing/tanking melee role for their pets. The support sets would be more indirect--the class doesn't get any direct support auras or powers, rather something along the lines of an armor or two, and a variety of pets that give support--either in auras, like /traps FFG, or as shields like Protector Bots, or even a healer like the Medic. They do some damage, but their primary role is support. A player version of those bosses that get adds that support them.
