It is possible you can make a Dark/Dark 'blapper' work for you; I haven't put any thought into it.

    I did!

This is a build I'm currently running. Do with it what you will.

I currently have her at 50+1 and she's a hard worker. Lot's of DoT in there so things don't die immediately but I do love to see those piles of orange numbers flying high to the sky.

Def numbers in game are slightly higher than in Mid's but that just makes it even better. You'll see a lot of weird slotting but that's to crank the S/L and AoE through Siphon Insight. Also, Musculature Alpha does a lot of work for you post 50 which makes it really shine lvl 45+.

My favorite thing at the moment is to pop Aim, Combat TP into a crowd, nuke, then blap whatever's left. I'll let you know how well Mighty Judgement does when I get there. That way I can do a second hop through another group for the same general thing.

Moonfire and Hess both have at least one room like that. I think they are actually in more than one of those missions. Problem, of course, is having a team that wants to take time to destroy the doors.

You could choose to solo them up to those points and restart after, assuming it's not that much of a headache to do so.

I ran most of my badges through Ouro.

Also, as an FYI, Accolades for character improvement (e.g. The Atlas Medallion), stop working below the level you received them. That's the only reason to get anything early.

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.

  4. The badge meter is borked.

I kept track by digging through my logs to see how many of each thing I defeated. Not as easy or enjoyable as it sounds.

After that, you can just tally what you have left and go get it.

I will say, going for Vandal all in one to the exclusion of everything else, makes this particular process a bit easier, but just a bit.

  5. I use my Warshade to badge (1349 currently). On live I was using my Stalker (1100+ as far as I remember).

Just about anything works so long as you got the fortitude to go after them all.

    Have fun out there.

I'm fairly certain I've seen them - I think the game spawns them when there isn't a quantum option for an enemy group.

I recently had a Vigilante Tip Mission that was nothing but Voids and Crystals. It was sort of eerie. Especially so, since I was playing on my Blaster at the time.

Getting similar or better performance out a TW/BIO will be 10x easier there than doing it on a WS, plain and simple. That and you'll have a much easier time soloing AV's on a TW/BIO; soloing them on a WS requires lore pets, daggers and procs out the ying-yang and even then it's a slog.

Regarding AVs, I've been doing the Shadow Shard TFs solo with a Def based build for my WS. (I got a lot of help from analyzing Doom's builds)

Don't underestimate the power of Temp Power Summons along with your Lore pets.

A Shivan is unbelievably helpful in a pinch.

  8. Best I've done is 3, and even then, the third evaporates shortly thereafter.

I've never tried to get the recharge down lower than that.

I'm sure it's possible to slot purely for recharge but you're sacrificing a lot of other things along the way.

Ura Hero is next! We need to find, capture, frisk, badge, and release.

I might need to be on this list as well.

Mu Guardian – Defeat 100 Mu Guardian bosses

This is probably the worst of the Arachnos badges and one of the worst badges overall. Mu Guardians seem to be the rarest spawning Arachnos bosses in missions and there isn’t a great zone to hunt them in. You can get a couple in Grandville and Cap au Diable, and Recluse’s Victory isn’t a bad option either for Heroes and Vigilantes, but the best choice is Scirocco’s second arc. The last two missions of that arc are guaranteed Mu spawns, so with large enough team sizes you can actually kill these guys in real numbers. If you want to reset a mission, I would do the second to last mission, as the last one has enemies that can aggro from across the map.

Venomous – Defeat 50 Toxic Tarantulas

If you are running level 50 Arachnos content at a level high enough to procure bosses, you’ll get some. The Miss Liberty Task Force is the best Task Force for this, but if you are doing it for speed or mastery, you likely won’t be killing a lot. Street sweeping isn’t a good option for these at all, but the best option is the rafters in Grandville, where they occasionally appear out of metal doors. Now you may think Warburg is a great option as they are fairily common there, but since those are technically not Arachnos but Rogue Arachnos instead, they don’t count towards this badge. Luckily, it’s only fifty, unlike those Mu Guardians.

    I found something interesting.

The First mission of the Second story arc from Mr. G has a ton of Arachnos. I think I got 6-7 Toxics and maybe 5 Mu Guardians from this set at 0x8.

I wish I hadn't spent all that time floating around Grandville now because I already had the Venomous badge when I walked in the door.

The biggest problem is that if you're in Dwarf mode you've pretty much 0 idea if you are mezzed til you pop out of it and start twitching in place. Very annoying.

Personally I'd give Dwarf mez protection a bit of linger-time (6-10 seconds) so at least you can do something (other than pop straight back into Dwarf like a snail retreating back into its shell).

I keep my Hold Protection up in my Combat Attributes window. If it drops below a certain point (~14 at 50), I'm held outside of Dwarf Form. It seemed better to me than trying to interpret which powers are currently affecting me at any given time.

Then again, if Ghost Widow is around, it doesn't really matter.

Gaussian’s +Build Up is another one that you need in Nova itself for it to work in that form.

I have the Gaussians in Nova for my WS but I rarely see it proc, if ever.

I also have the Decimation version in Dark Nova Bolt and I see that showing in my stat bar now and again.

I'm not a numbers cruncher but I know what seems to be working.

I'd love to see the stats on this, though.

  14. Hey guys,

This really helped me get Empath for my Warshade. Thanks a lot!

I used Walk to get myself perfectly positioned each time I set up for maximum heals.

I cannot describe the agony of coming back to the computer after a few hours and realizing I left walk on for the duration. >.>

  17. Heyoooo,

I'm a WS lover and I wanted to post what I have going on for my favorite Alpha Ranger: Super Sempai Seven.

I know a lot of you will look at this and think I'm crazy for going the complete opposite direction of everybody here and having basically, NO DEFENSE WHATSO-EVAR! The key for me is: Dying is part of the attack chain, why prolong the inevitable?

I crafted this here and there over the better part of the a month and changed it around as I leveled.

She sports 30+% Base SL/FC/EN RES  Out of the box, any form.

Up to 59% when Exemplared, toggles on.

    Perma-Hasten, Perma-Eclipse (Nearly Max RES-All at 4 targets).

    +193% Recharge

3 Reliable pets at a time, if you can remember bring them out.

Double Stealth for extreme badge-hunting or Mission ghosting.

Full attack chain at every level for every situation.

Let me know what you love and hate about it.

On a more personal note, you'll see a lot of love placed into Dwarf form. My favorite attack chain is to TP into a big crowd, Eclipse, Mire, Dwarf, Dwarf Mire (the Apocalypse Proc really shines here), Smite somebody near death (or just find the nearest corpse), Human, Unchain, See if anything is left, Nova, Nova detonation, Extraction, Stygian... Move on to the next group.

I also like just hanging out in Dwarf form, Tanking while my fluffies hose down the room with Neg Energy.
