  1. From what I have seen, you don't have to be "in the TF giver's zone" to invite them, but you DO have to be "in the proper Alignment's side". Not sure if it is something in the way the Hero/Villain alignments are treated when dealing with Rogues/Vigilantes, but from my limited experience, it seems to work as follows: - Assume the person starting the TF is a Hero, and they are starting Positron's TF (Steel Canyon). - If you are a hero, they will always be able to invite you, because you will always be in a "hero" zone. - If you are a villain, they will never be able to invite you, because you will never be in a "hero" zone. - If you are a Vigilante/Rogue, the game will treat you slightly differently: - As a vigilante, you are always considered a "Blue" to "Blue invites". - As a Rogue, you are only considered "Blue" to "Blue invites" if you are in a Blue zone (ie, you shouldn't have to be in Steel Canyon for the invite to go through, it should work even if you are in Atlas, or Talos, or Founders Falls. - Haven't tested neutral zones (such as Ouro, Cimmeroa, or Pocket D) enough to know how they work as far as group invites go, but I imagine they probably follow the same rules as above. Basically, it seems to be the alignment of the zone you are in that is what actually determines their ability to invite you (when it comes to Rogues/Vigilantes) rather than the Alignment flag itself. Which leads me to believe that the game still considers Rogues to be Villains and Vigs to be Heroes (also supported by the fact that you can only access H/V Base Alignment missions from Ouro Crystals instead of both sides), and only really flips the switch when you are actually visiting the other side's zones.
  2. In the character creator for the following: Archetype: Brute Primary Power Pool: Dark Mele Power: Shadow Punch Description is completely wrong. It appears to be using most of the description from Dark Consumption instead.
  3. This is actually a really good point. It's not quite as bad Hero side, because everybody Hero side is generally trying to be a good guy: save the world, rescue the hostage, stop the bad guy, etc. Where the difference between a Hero and a Vigilante is generally their means, rather than their motivation. Villain side should really have the branching path of "Villain" Vs "Rogue" baked into the content though, as there is a big motivational difference between a typical rogue vs a villain. Are you out there to just be a badass, to be the tough guy on the block that people don't mess with. Or is your goal to take over the world and crush humanity under your feet? Cause it can be disconcerting to go from a story arc where the entire goal of the story arc is building personal power and showing you aren't to be messed with (which fits perfectly fine with a Rogue type character) to then stumbling across a contact like Westin Phipps, who literally plays out like he is one step away from Evil Incarnate and likely spends his bonus pay buying puppies specifically so he can see how far he can kick them.......
  4. Dang. Sad to hear that it isn't available for players. So many lost costume opportunities with that one.
  5. Unsure if this costume part is actually available for players, but what I am looking for is: The "Front and Rear Cape like Fabric" that appears to maybe be a Belt Part. It drapes down to around mid shins, and starts from your belt. As far as I could tell, I went through every possible Upper Body and Lower Body costume part that might produce the effect and couldn't find anything. Ingame examples on NPCs I can think of are Sorceress Serene from the Night Ward arc, as well as Infinity (the antagonist character from the Story Arc handed out by Trilogy in the Midnighter Mansion in Night Ward)
  6. Went to fire the game up to play around a bit more before calling it a night, Tequila downloaded some new data, and now my Panda Security Antivirus is flagging the CoH executable as being infected with w32/exploit.gen? Wasn't getting any issues running things before this recent update. Can this be assumed to be a false positive?
