Are there regular contests going on, or is there somewhere I can find info on them? I do a search of the boards, and I didn't see it for that server, or I missed the post.

I stumbled upon this City Of Heroes article which listed their picks for the best blaster builds and part of it,listed at #1, was the beam rifle/ temporal combination. The article basically PRAISED that combination. This article was written in late 2019. I was wondering if this is still true in 2021, or is it even true at all? I know sometimes these things can be subjective (play whatever you like to play), but I was thinking of trying it, and I'd like a pro opinion, please. How would you slot it? (EVEN IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT) I read on a different post about doing this: 1)To Hit Buff IO 2)Gaussian Synchronized Fire Control-To Hit Buff Endurance 3)To Hit Buff IO Which is fine with me cause I have only a few slots left lol. What do you think?

Ok. BTW,I like this build! Works very well. I like using hover to attack. I need to max out my incarnates,but overall I'm hanging in battles longer than I would've before. I need a little more defense though but I'm enjoying this.I'm gonna work on a tank later,then I'll be truely happy,but for now,I'm gonna enjoy this. THANK YOU. I may try a second build but with focused power bolt. How would you slot it?

I'm curious...you didn't take Power Blast or Focused Power Bolt.

This is a winged Fae character so I do attack completely from the air and try and avoid melee, especially swords lol. Well,having to be healed or rezed over and over does get annoying,even though being an offensive character it can come with the territory. Can there be a balance? What I currently have is knockdown only on Nova. The rest I'm ok with nothing.

Right now I have 150 Million Inf. I think my others may be holding out on me, I'll have to check. But $150 Million Inf. for sure

The question is about the power sets for this build. The L.D. is legit. In a school for it now. It's too late for it not to be the character for me. I got this sucker up to 50 and I'm ready to pull the trigger on spending the inf. needed, but I'm just not sure of the power sets.

And yes,OldSkool I have asked for a lot of build help because I just don't "get it" no matter how much I tried. And I have tried a lot. But..I felt your tone was a little demeaning. I have a energy/regeneration Hero. I want to do some major damage but protect myself. Obviously I can't just run into every battle, but I definitely want to put the major hurt on some baddies. Help with build please? Needs: Maxed Damage & Defense (I know it's a Sentinel) Ion Core Nova Managed KB Flight (Regular OR Mystic) Got a build for me? 🙂
