  1. Wow, thanks... yeah the part that really got me was seeing the Earth, itself (identifiable continents and all) in the night sky. The giant sun is opposite them, too. The terrain has that look of a map that has been cut off into partial view, but then again you can look down into oblivion. I should have shown this in the OP:
  2. (UPDATE: I replied, below, with images) Hello, Newbie Architect here... Question: What is the following map, and if it's custom, how? I'm on Reunion server and on Page 1 of the missions sorted by rating there is one called "Bads in Space (an EXP Farm for any Archetype)" by creator A Humble Farmer. On the map you look like you're on an asteroid, in space, and you can see the Earth and moon in the sky! (?!) (I think maybe you're supposed to be on the moon in the story, but whatever... the "actors" and such seem like a moon landing hoax joke maybe) There are lava streams and embers like I've seen in a cave, but you're in a simple, rock circle bordered by some slightly taller rocks and then just space! What AE map is this? I have not seen where you can edit the maps to this degree, so if it is not a stock CoH AE map then did someone use some kind of a mod, or did a dev have fun with a quickie? Thanks! (update: see images in my reply below)
  3. Okay, just making sure. May I expressionalize much graciousnissitude for your having informationalized me on the matter!
  4. Hello, I am a Peacebringer who just acquired the ability to shapeshift into the "Bright Nova" squid form (and the special powers that come with it). There doesn't happen to be a way to alter that appearance, is there? Or even toggle it invisible so I don't show the squid outwardly? I think it's neat as-is, but did have a reason to want to know if I could be customized like a costume have its appearance toggled off even when it's being used effectively (like a helmet that protects but is toggled visibly off and all you see is your bare head). Thanks!
  5. Thanks so much... I always seem to learn advanced things but with a few Swiss cheese holes of remedial knowledge holding it back. Video games is probably the one thing I'm bad about not sitting down and reading the long-hand documentation cover to cover, first. That's just what the doctor ordered. Dr. Thaddaeus Aeon, that is! 👍
  6. Hello, This seems like a boom boom noob question, yet I can find more advanced things. I have now played an arc that was a Mission Architect one in the AE building (the Moon one on page 1) and I have even found all the great advice here on how to compose these missions... ...but I have missed where to find how I change end-user player settings for these missions or arcs. Like what levels I am, and the foes are, and some kind of settings I heard about regarding the bosses and something to toggle on or off with bosses depending on if you want ticket rewards or main game rewards (I see where to select which type rewards or drops you want, but there are suggestions that pop up saying to change other settings along with it, depending on which rewards or drops you chose. Also, the architect guides refer to how users altering these settings can impact your custom arc and turn your boss into a Lieutenant etc. It's these end user, player/foes/bosses level settings and related toggle settings I can't seem to locate. Thanks for your help! Shofar Reunion
  7. I think this is fantastic. I just discovered Homecoming after thinking CoH was gone forever, and I never took advantage of this. Out of any user-created content for any game this and Tron 2.0 (also kept alive and even furthered upon private servers after ceasing to exist formally) -- these are the user-submitted content platforms on my radar to try out, albeit the late bloomer I am with the whole thing. I can pretend I'm doing it when it was cutting edge, heh. This guide helps me do it right if I'm going to try it out at all.
  8. Cape Radio that was it !! Thanks, whee, I can't believe I'm listening again right now. There was some other website they were listed on (I don't think it was TuneIn and it wasn't just Shoutcast) but who cares, they're still around and can be found right on their own URL. Except this year I won't sit around getting drunk and chatting on the dance floor of the in-game club for an hour at a time. Seems like everyone is chatting on Discord now, but it was interesting years ago to find people openly socializing right there in a "VR" nightclub and Local in-game chat, cartoon bubbles and all. But this time I intend to use the user-created content (Mission Architect) over at AE. A game within a game... whoa... (I never took advantage of it back during Issue 14 and then CoH was gone) CoH is just such an underrated game and others in the genre disappointed. Great graphics but crappy selection of stuff... always something. Restrictive, not posessing all the freedoms do do a bit of this or a bit of that as the mood strikes... It's just great to see Homecoming. I only just re-discovered it.
  9. You probably don't remember me as Divmont or Divmontru, but I remember hanging out in a dance club in the City. There I met people who directed me to a collection of online radio stations (not mainstream thing to me like Shoutcast was) and one station was dedicated to the heroes and was named as such. I listened to sort of goth and industrial late at night but there were different DJ's and times and genres, but it was always a 24/7 shout out to the City of Heroes (& Villains)
