  1. Ok, prolly because my version is old, and sadly new mids is too buggy for my setup, but this is as close as I can export the latest build.

As you can see from pic, I slotted  twilight with 2 Hamis, 3 touch of the nictus and a +chance for endurance theft. Dont know why it isnt exported same with tar patch. - Edit:Will add manually 🙂

Rationale is that yes, perhaps Gloom and Life Drain are the only ones I need to pop 1 or 2 extra ghosts.

I want to use main attacks, pets and cones to debuff mostly and it is part of a rp build I wanted but want to keep it with this theme. Have taken into consideration all of your suggestions!

Please do another critique, I think I Have fine tuned it to more or less what is possible with the current powers I want out of this build.

To be used mainly for missions, taskforces and exemplaring up and down and perhaps an occasional +1 to +2 (and if possible +3 but not really wanting to push it with an rp build not setup for max efficiency)

  2. Ok, I have tweaked severely the build, mostly forgetting about resists and focusing on recharge plus accuracy on some powers and other ideas.

I really want to have 3 extra undead with the 3 basic attack powers  so plan on spamming them alongside a few select powers.

    A short brief:

    153% Recharge

54% to hit on all powers base, not counting the occasional build up from tactics that might bring on a few occasions the bonus to 80%

    2.2 End Drain all toggled

    2.8 End Gain

Can Almost perma hasten with a recharge on it of 129 secs!

    8 KB prot

    all defs at 15%

    What you guys think now?

  3. You guys rock! 😄

    So much infooooo!

My old addled brain is now booting up mids to begin another several hours long ritual of moving enhancements here and there haha

Sometimes I think I enjoy making a build more than playing ... love to you all! Keep the critiques coming!

Love having people that play the game and push it to the extreme! so much good info here!

    • Thumbs Up 1
  4. Please keep the critiques coming, I love them! gives me much better ideas.

Was wondering on the use of soul extraction.  It is the only place I think can fit all of the remaining MM sets special enhancements bonus. I have on it all of them that give actual good bonuses to the pets with the rest added to the two other pet tiers: zombies and gks.

I will nonetheless remove commanding presence one, you are right 100% 🙂

You mention of using it more actively ... I rarely use it  hmmm, hmmm decisions.

Will rework build with your ideas in the next few days! Love them 🙂

Thank you much for your input.

  5. Ohhh amazing! This is exactly the type of critique I want! 😄

On the end side I use the template for my other villains, as I just spam the end regen from Incarnate powers to forget about it, but you make very solid points on the enhancement allocations.

    Will try to switch them.

I made this as a general idea build to be able to just spam more necro goons with the base powers. My old level 50 necro needed a repolish and hard respec and was wondering how to take advantage of the new powers.

The Build is mostly aimed at doing missions and the odd strike force mostly , no pvp or weird pylon max dps fest hehe.

As it is right now this is the basic stat set for the build:

  6. This is using latest HC Database, as current Mids version is still a bit buggy, so everything is correct.

The Idea is to have decent resists mostly, around 20 for the lowest, 40 for mids and dark/lethal near cap and to use the mm mostly as a spammer of the new attacks to try to pop ghosts during mission cleansing.

Some powers are for utility/rp , like Mystic Flight and Teleport Other (which helps a ton during missions or sfs to summon dead bodies to rez)

I have tried to take advantage of some powers to slot some full sets and others to slot with resist/def sets for pets for survival , though I know I will lose zombies like a bad cheap zombie movie when the walkers meet the protagonists.

This is the general idea, I am more or less fixated on powers though I can replace perhaps the soul ones, with anothee resistance power and a diff power from it.

Mostly wondering about enhancements. I know this build can be expensive, but its part of the fun as I really like to get to 50 with cheap ios and then begin grinding the inf for cool enhancements.

Any suggestion welcome! There arent really that many Necro/Dark builds post changes, and I relish the idea of being a more active mm spamming the 3 basic attacks to support my pets.

I have a decent +to Hit from kismet and enhancements to avoid slotting +acc in individual slots/powers and a focus on mostly resists rather than fancy combos, like extra damage or build ups etc. even tho I slotted some on the basic attacks, but can change if you guys feel its wasteful

Want to keep it simple, but super open to suggestions, specially alt builds of necro/darks that take advantage of the new MM attack mechanics.

If this works will prolly upgrade my array of MMs, which is the only class I really really enjoy playing after all these years 🙂

Thugs:  Clowns just to silence that decade old request

I want clowns so badly ... them being thugs is a good start.

Wish we could get a whole new set of primaries that are simply the original ones with damages switched or changed, like mercs that do energy or negative damage or cats and wolves that do fire.

Anything to see mercs get some love out of lethal 😞

  8. Oh ...  this is great! ,,, but can I scale this a bit further?

Do you have a google drive link that has all builds in a single zip?

Or perhaps ... can you do a single zip file of ALL YOUR BUILDS, literally compress your COH Build Folder for Mids Reborn and share it with us plz

I am ALWAYS ALWAYS looking for morebuilds!!!! MOAAAR!

    Thanks for sharing!

  9. Hi Guys! Please rate this build I saved some years ago and now want to try on my already 50 necro who has only cheap IOs

Dont know if it still works on Homecoming, its from a very old build in the forums that I want to try and tweaked a bit.

It is mostly to do group missions, all taskforces if available and fool around thematically  with an evil necro in Homecoming 😄

Not looking to do +4/8 Solo farms or other such play styles. Sheer PVE fun and the occasional Mothership Spam.

With zero pricey enhancements and mostly regular drop ios I have managed with a mix of mission grinding, an afk farm here or there and regular taskforces managed to get it to 50, but willing now to begin the farm for money to kit my little necro.

Due to money being an issue (too many alts and failed builds) I want to focus on getting the correct sets for my little necro.

    So any ideas are welcome.

Some odd power choices to some of you are Teleport Target which I use a lot to help other team members when they die and summon to me to rez or when I am at a gate and can bring stragglers over.  Currently looking at the possibility of dropping one power to grab Fold Space to help groups during missions to have everyone centered within my aoe heals and tar patches + howling twilight --- You can also see I do a lot of support with single target debuffs which work wonders on bosses, avs and big nasty things hehe.

So tldr: if you can make this build better for solo and group content  please tell me, not very good at builds 🙂

    Much love to everybody!

I run heavy proc caltrops on some characters.  I find it fun, but do temper your expectations.

What generally doesn't happen is this... "You cast caltrops" -- ALL procs go off against ALL targets.

The above isn't reality.  You may find a target doesn't get hit by a proc at all or a target may get hit by multiple procs at once.  The ability to potentially get another -12.5% resistance from the Annihilation proc is pretty fun but just don't count on it being a constant.

I'm usually only looking for the procs to do anything relevant at the point of the pseudopet spawn vs constant proc explosions over the duration.  That isn't realistic either.

If you have the slots left over to explore this option, then go for it.  It can be fun, but it may not be as potent as it looks on paper.

    This is truth.

I decided to see how a fully 5 slotted with procs caltrops would fare ... Mishes after mishes it was the same ... an occasional 40+ damage tick on a random mob and not usually frequent enough to warrant it.  I ended up leaving it 5 slotted to slot posi blasts for the extra accuracy +recharge and the occasional proc from the set. No other set gave me more and have enough slots on other powers to leave it like that.

  12. Very close to 50 after some farms, mishes, tfs and even nemesis invasions...

I have tweaked the build a bit further as I have progressed  and discovered that macros REALLY REALLY make the TRAPS secondary feel much much better.

ts insane! Caltrops + Acid Mortar (with 2 procs, one for res debuff and other for extra damage) combo makes all your attacks be blissful!

I also made caltrops auto drop on my target with a macro and binded to left shift the Force Field Generator .. I run all the time with pretty decent defense and playing aggressively with a mix of defensive positioning make the build dance in my fingertips as I only spam the easy to reach left shift and 1 to 9 in the keyboard.

    binds here:

/bind lshift powexec_location me Force Field Generator

This binds FFG to lshift , pretty simple to spam it unconsciously while you do your attack chain

    /macro CALT powexec_location target caltrops

This creates a small macro button that you use to supplant the regular caltrops button and forces the caltrops to land on a target , as the range on caltrops is so short it works better on a targeted monster.

  13. Hi guys!

I have fallen in love with AR ... have a wonderful Blaster and Sent with it, plus a MM , and now I am trying to create a corruptor.

Scouring the corruptor forum was quite informing in the lack of builds (only found 2) so decided to grab one by plainguy and tweak it to my own playstyle

Care to give this a look and see if it works? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Love you all!

  14. I personally love about them is how resilient they can be  while doing damage from afar ...

I find blasters not to my liking as I dislike the glass cannon trope, bu sents are the best middle point , ranged damage, easy target selection with alt tab and you just focusing on shooting avoiding any melee but if things go wrong ... you can take a decent beating before going down.

When I faceplant as a sentinel it is because I am singled out on taskforce because the tanks and brutes are not doing their jobs or are down as well , so I find that satisfying.

As a blaster getting the attention for a brief moment of a group of mobs means I have to sharpen up, get out, spam eat insps and just ... not cool or relaxing to me.

As a sent it is much easier and forgivable to play and laze around as I am usually either watching something on tv or talking to family as I play.

    It is ... relaxing?

So far I have 3 sents, 2 at 50 fully kitted and currently leveling a third one , so far my fav is my weird super fun AR/Regen sent, which is the lowest damage possible with the less favorable secondary powerset combo ... but its super relaxing as I built it to just laze around and it works wonders.

If my third Dark/Dark sent does not work out, I will simply go back to create a 4th.

I have a level 50 brute, 50 blaster, 50 corruptor and a 50 defender ... the brute and corruptor can literally solo +4x8 farms (S/L and Fire) and the only ones I am playing having fun right now is my AR/Regen sent hehe.

Sents are just too much fun!

I think sents are a great addition to any group and can solo somewhat, but they shine in group missions and tfs which is the content I enjoy most, specially low level TFs like Posi and they add a bit of everything to all groups.

  15. Ok , I have been switching things a bit, losing a bit of resistances here and there and swapping some slots to try to make some changes.

You can see in the attached screenshot that due to the swaps, you can see the current resists/defenses + consumption with Darkest Night toggled off and on, also was wondering if darkest night is slotted at 44 all of the end drain issues can be ameliorated with Ageless (which is my go to on all my builds anyway) when 50, but might still be a bit of an issue when doing lower level content.

    What you think?

Will prolly tinker a bit more with it and post a new build

Well, there goes my afternoon again haha, I dont know why but when I open mid I lose a couple hours without knowing how 😎

  17. Hey guys! I have recently reached that level where after two sents I now want A THIRD ONE!

    I just love sents!

They have that weird mix of damage/tankiness that is neither one thing or the other and that alone is what I love about them! 😄

So here is my latest amateur theorycrafting

    ---------------------

I know a lot of people prefer resists, others defenses , so I decided to get to close to 20/30% on defenses and solid 40s to 60 resists to have a mix of good defense and focusing on trying to pump a bit more of damage out my sent (damage on sents is quite low compared to other ATs from my small experience, so I followed a bit of advice from the sentinel guide as well.

What you guys think? I dont think capping out resists or defenses help the damage output of this particular combo, but again, open to suggestions! I learned a lot building my AR/Regen sent, but want to learn more!

    Big hug to everybody! 😄

    Edit:

As a small note I dont like much Super Speed as a traveling power, but on some builds I have it due to how I visualize the build. Here I went for Mystic flight as it is my fav combo of flight and some tp which I enjoy.

You can easily switch for flight or ss or cj

However, for someone just building up your Incarnate materials pick the ones that you think you will have the most fun with. The Incarnate options like Interface, Destiny, Judgment, etc... are not useless. There may be niche options, but it is really difficult to make universal recommendations that impact things in the same manner for all situations. That just doesn't exist as your choices have tradeoffs.

Oh oh I see ...  Again it boils down to "There are no bad choices" ...

Yes yes, I can see that. Unless you "want to split hairs" haha.

Yep, I will choose whats fun!

Thanks again for your words oldskool you have been super helpful! 😄

I think after this, my second sentinel I ... want to make more sents!!! they have this strange mix of attack and defenses that make me usually the last guy to fall down while being in range I like so much!
