  1. You can get the patron power pools, but you do need to swap to redside and do any patron arc. Doing one unlocks all of the pools now. Scirocco's is the fastest.
  2. Cardiac is endurance reduction, not recharge. I don't think it has much use to you. Musculature would be the best bet. If you already have perma PA, more recharge from Agility isn't going to do a whole lot. As for the others, I'm not much help. I've wondered about spectral interface. Does your pet damage then get containment bonus? Could be really nice if so.
  3. I couldn't resist doing some quantification around this. The setup is for my FM/SD numbers. I ran a monte carlo simulation of kill times with crits modeled as a random function and critical strikes proc modelled as a random function. I did not model build up into this, but just scaled my damage up appropriately. Modeling the proper gaussian's proc chance would increase the variability some since I don't think it's 100% chance on activation. Note Fiery Melee is about as predictable as you can get for a scrapper set. If you are using a set like titan weapons or anything with a combo mechanic, the irreducible 5% chance to miss is going to increase variance because you can miss your combo/momentum/whatever builder. I don't have that problem with FM, and I didn't feel like modeling it, honestly. Anyway, to the graph. The y axis is the cumulative percentile of the distribution. The x-axis is the time in seconds to kill the pylon. The 80% confidence interval ranged from 160 seconds to 190 seconds. The translates in dps from 330-370 dps. Note that the DPS curve is not linear in time, and when you start dropping under 150 seconds the curve from seconds to DPS gets very steep (larger change in DPS number for smaller changes in seconds to kill). The blue curve is the theoretical pylon kill time in seconds for the result of 10,000 trials on a MC simulation. The orange line is the mean of that distribution. For fun I added the range of means you can expect doing a 5 trial sample (grey curve). It improves your results relative to a 1 trial sample (blue curve), but still has a decently wide distribution. I won't weigh in much more on this other than to say my position about drawing conclusions from a single number is probably clear if I bothered to go to this effort. I realize the irony that I have posted a single number in this very thread. One edit: I assumed this was a two roll system for hit and crit like XCOM 1, and not a single roll system like XCOM 2. A single roll system would reduce variance.
  4. Not using musculature on a scrapper is a pretty significant DPS drop. I'd try to work it in somehow.
  5. I did 2:55 on an illusion dark controller. This did require me keeping the tarantula from mace mastery alive which can be problematic under AOE. Better than I expected. DPS number of course doesn't make sense since I was taking advantage of -500% regen debuff. T4 agility T4 flawless radial reactive T4 assault - not clicked
  6. This is my FM/SD scrapper. I built it as a generalist, but basically tried to push resists as high as possible without compromising ST or AOE damage. The build is at 68% s/l resist, you can get it higher, close to cap even, but it requires dropping ball lightning. I think it's also theoretically a dps increase to drop greater fire sword and use scorch, because you can fit both scorch and incinerate in under the critical strikes buff, but I like hitting mobs with GFS. The build isn't really cheap and endurance is an issue under heavy AOE, although you can maintain the ST attack chain for quite a while. that said, it's quite fun to play. I've soloed ITF at +1 in one hour and I think I could push that to +2 or +3, but I haven't had time. Could probably also run it faster if I played smarter. | Copy & Paste this data into Mids' Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1535;709;1418;HEX;| |78DA65944B6F125114C7EFC020427996B6D09740DF523B85961A1F312EAC983E484| |848DC993A855B184B28014C7469A226EACE8D4B635CB9716DFC08BE6AE25770E1A6| |ADF1916AB4E2E9FC0F4864C2E477EEFFDE73EE39F7DC217D63D1F5FCD2ADF342F15| |C28E9B5DA5A3657D52B1559B5A5F5829113878F9DDE81A6BE96962529B59421AB37| |61875B538B7243966B52CB160D59CA3787FEA572515665B9AE350D67666BABA4652| |B52E65DA6B92AF58A512EB8CD41CA2814EB34F236A7F2B25A2B1A95E0C58A91D3B2| |75BDB47998C6F5B5B45EAB5316214A6F9ADEDB76C14F837EF408A79B068AA9A8224| |8C6B02A2CFB562112C41FA0FA9DF90DBC435114F8D814A99ADA913C78F42A53079D| |EBCC1C384ABE5664A0581D16F8DA4117E562E3B8B61DECE5FB04762F286012EC893| |313E008C5B5C357B11F969A70081FD34D711D3CE75820A856D1D724F97561CED2D5| |8B58A103619E43A407E32EF277F319B9794DDF0AF20A2D810329E632E8211FAF794| |80DE18D228F7BB4971FB5DBFCE750F3D029F0D869E619E659302210CF4BF102C841| |04380785E2F572377BCD6E5A4909629535C8DD8B70F7A23F99DCC5FBB4B69FB3E9D| |F14E8CE35643ABAC12C401F2B320DE877C97790F7197CCC953C03A34FC0B1A7A04A| |6B8779EDF057EC3DF1059CDC65EE810F686D98730A6FF3DC3BF0F82BE66BE61B30F| |616F4D3098DB0EF089F5AEC17728835C013BF9907CC3FE0475A3E0E5FCBF8366A9D| |78CFFC00EEBB8498E2F85327E137B3C09C63CE83B349E60BF8FAA9AE69BE41D3DCB| |D59BE5D091F33C0ECE69B4EF568DC5D6D8EBF06D2E2ACC539CE90FAFF371D565BDF| |7423D6311BEF50121DCA7C8792EC50563B948CCADB92A2988AC3D7FADA1B3BCED6B| |F865066702E7BFF348B7219F5B8A2A8D5B54CE34955ECB6FB4DC1EF73BBDF239CB5| |E7A1C5BC9B9E08EEE8BAD3CCCCDC5B6FB3AFB4D99936FB255D9E04DB2B01B2F904F| |F02A113FDB8| |-------------------------------------------------------------------|
  7. Is this build capable of soloing avs or gms or do you need more debuffs to really do that? Looks fun either way.
  8. It definitely wasn't a few issues before the end. I played a SS/FA brute a lot and never had the defense part of the crash in i23.
