New cartoon dropped today, called Q-Force. Apparently the series revolves around a gay secret agent. Have not watched it yet, but I probably will; it's a cartoon after all. But wasn't Q-Force the name of the Nodwick characters re-imagined as CoH heroes? Been a long time since I have read any of those.

Season 1 takes a while to get the ball rolling, but is quite good. The theme is the Roman invasion of Britain and their wars and alliances with Celtic tribes. Again, Zoe Wanamaker is in this one as Queen Antedia (sp?) and every scene she is in is golden. A lot of the other players get off some great lines as well, and the whole thing is rather dark with druid sacrifices and all, but the writing sometimes really sparkles. Season 2 is similar, though I thought the finale was kind of weak, and the fate of one of the main characters from s1 is a very dark twist. It still revels in its strangeness, which is what I enjoy most.

Dancing on the Moon - Fleischer Studios

If you are like me and prefer your sword and sandal to be absolutely daft and with a dark sense of humor, Britannia is your thing. Romans, tribesmen, and stoned druids strive for dominance. And it looks like Zoe Wanamaker is back, which is great; she stole every scene she was in season 1. Have not yet started watching it, but the rest of the series bears my highest recommendation.
