It seems that Paragon Unleashed has finally bit the dust. The board had been slowing down for a while, and I suspect that the rise of HC and other revivalist servers did not help. I uaed to hang out there as Heraclea. My vague recollection is that the board was founded when NCsoft announced stricter censorship of the official forums. Who else hung around or posted there?

Many of my brutes end up with three, Stamina, Superior Conditioning, and Physical Perfection all take them.

Only one level of incarnate shift works in the game generally, the +1. You get this by having an Alpha power crafted and slotted at the +3 tier. This applies generally to all level 50 content. It is visible everywhere in the game. The other two level shifts are only visible inside incarnate content, and in certain zones. Dark Astoria is one of them. I think they show up in Pocket D and Ouroboros as well. These shifts are claimed by having Lore and Destiny powers unlocked, crafted, and slotted at the +3 tier. The level shifts only apply in content specifically marked as for incarnates -- in DA, incarnate trials, Apex/Tin Mage. When in effect all the mobs in these things will con lower than they used to. I always craft a tier 1 something when I unlock Judgment and Interface, but upgrading those will wait while I save my geemies for getting Lore and Destiny to t3 ASAP.

Depends. I have done total concept transfers on some of my characters. Almost all of them change in the playing. If there's an obvious allusion in the character's name, I will create a bio referencing it on creation. Not all are like that, and some are only made in the going. My personal challenge is to put big stories in bios that are as short as possible, as well. Not a huge fan of long dramatic bios. Short ones seem cleverer to me.
