So this is going to be a bit of a rant, but i think i've found a character i can really get into.  His name is Brother Skirmish.  He is only lvl 21 at the moment.  One thing thats nice about this build, is there are no toggle powers, yet.  His costume is meh, he looks like a DBZ character, which i'm planning to fix.  One thing i like about Energy/Energy is its mostly Single Target.  Which makes soloing a bit easier.  Right now i level +1x0 missions.

    I'm running story arc missions.  Right now, i'm in Striga Isle, finishing up Stephanie Peebles missions.  I think thats her name.  Anyways, if you want to play a fun class, i recomended it.

  2. ok, i had a look at one of Infinitums builds.

     

    Here is what my build looks like now :

    8 ) Adaptation : looking at infinitum's build, the answer is that it can't be slotted

    10) Taunt (10)

     

    What's best for tanking, efficient adaptation, offensive adaptation, or defensive adaptation ?? 

  3. My build is Bio Armor / Energy Melee. I want to slot out the armors 1st.  This will a team tank mostly.  I need to know how to slot powers like Inexhastible and Environmental Modification ???

    I think i'm gonna stick with just basic IOs to start.  So far, this is my build:

    1) Hardened Carapace (1)(3)(3)(5)(5)

    2) Inexhaustible (2) ??

    4) Super Jump (4)

    6) Environmental Modification (6) ??

    8 ) Adaptaion: is this slottable ??

  4. I tried searching for a Bio Build.  I'm pretty sure there was a post some time ago, but i can't find it.  I just hit lvl 11. Any help is welcome, i've never played Bio before.  Thanks in advance.

  5. So I've been playing an Elec/Elec Tank, named Spark Rhino.  I find he dies alot.  It could be that he isn't slotted, at all.  I believe he just hit lvl 27.

     

    Are, basic IOs better than SOs ??

  6. ok what would you slot first the attacks or the armors ??

     

    how would you slot all of the invulnerable powers ?? as well as tough and hide ??

     

    i need to know how many slots i have for them??  and what you guys would do with free slots i will have ??

     

    are any of these questions helping develop the final build ??

    • I'm guessing this is a budget or leveling build, as you're slotting mostly yellow sets. You get OK enhancement values but the set bonuses they provide don't do a whole lot for you. You would do better with orange sets, which aren't that much more expensive. In particular, Harmonized Healing, Serendipity and Multi-Strike are pretty crappy sets.
    • If you can afford it, slot the 2 ATO sets.
    • Slot the Gladiator's Armor +def unique.
    • Slot kb>kd in Crane Kick.
    • Not sure why you're slotting Reactive Defenses def/end/rchg in Tough Hide. This is an auto power that uses no endurance. Switch to straight defense or the scaling resistance unique.
    • No need for kb>kd in Dragon's Tail. Power doesn't do kb.
    • No need for 2 slots in Swift or Kick

    are you sure about the kb in Dragon's Tail ??

Hmmm.. if your gonna solo pick a set your going to enjoy, if you want to play a certain concept than go with regen.  I have several scrappers, and they are all Invulnerable.  During each spawn of enemies, i have to rest.  I think this is where a secondary like Regen comes in handy, you get Quick Recovery early.  However, i also like to have my attacks early. The faster you arrest ( or kill) the less damage your gonna take.  Than your gonna want your heals.  Its like having your own empath. I'm not really sure where i'm going with this rant.  I've been around since the beginning, and yes i remember what the original Regen was like.  Anyways i will shut up now, i hope that Psi/Regen is your cup of tea.

  9. I'm tempted to make a character that based on me.  I love animals, so obviously Beasts, but i'm not sure on a secondary.  Perhaps empathy, but i'm not a doctor in RL.  Although i've been thinking of going back to school, maybe become a shrink.
