How can videos of a wedding be creepy? As big RP events are rare I would consider them as nice memories. But somehow, this is the answer I expected. Thank you.

Dear CoH community, I need to convince 2 other people to play and enjoy MMO RPGs. During the conversation I told them, that there is the possibility of social events happening. Both did´n believe me. So I need some evidence now. Could you please post YT-links or pics of RP events you participated in? No matter what it was (wedding, party, court hearing, prom night...) Just something I can show potential new RPers. If you have something to show, please describe the event with a few words. Thank you so much and crossing fingers! Cheers Gerald

Thank you very much for the information. I'm more concerned with the life cycle of MMOs after they reach their peak. Of course, in the here and now the numbers are no longer so impressive.

The only point I would prefer is the character editor. CO has more options and I saw incredible good concepts in the last 15 years. On the other hand CO´s community became toxic at the time when it went free to play. I don´t think they would do the same for CO as we did for CoH. The differences in gameplay didn´t make CO better, the graphics are more comic-stylish. I like CoH´s graphics better because they were meant to be realistic. It became a hardcore grinder over the past years due to the lack of new content. Yes it was the only alternative with an RP-scene but they never had official or unofficial RP-servers. Loved CO for many years but it feels now they (Cryptic, arc games, embracer group, who ever) should let it die in dignity finally.

Made the same experience like you. It seems that there are not much active and well managed SGs out there. Leading a SG is a busy job and keeping a SG together is a social theme. Joining with a low level character nowadays is like being isolated automatically from the other SG members. It was different in the old days for sure.

Superspeed donations already saved our universe. This community is just incredible.

Exactly. It doesn´t matter what server gets merged into another, the main thing is to reduce costs and elminate the cost causer. And merging is the only way to do it without loosing player generated data. Except the bases. This would be a big challenge I guess. I really love the game and thats the reason why I care about server populations because it was my daily business and I´m experienced in this stuff. But love doesn´t pay server bills and as a donated project we should be double aware of server costs and possible cost savings.

I´ll be watching the server population for months. I worked for a server rental company for about 10 years. I don´t think Homecoming wants to waste donation money. I just want them to keep a very close eye on this server as this shard could turn out a waste of money, menpower and time.

Thanks. Discord enjoys a certain reputation and also this statistics is hard to find. So I will stick with the official Homecoming homepage live server population status.

After playing on Reunion I have to admit that this is inevitable. This server will be merged with another one in the near future. I hope all the bases can be rescued somehow. But Renunion lacks of active and permanently players. Think of the server costs and the poor utilization.
