  1. Hiya! Looking to make my first Blaster, workshopping a Mr. Freeze/nuclear winter character, and was looking for some input from you savvy folk! Either have better synergy than the other? Any advice or builds greatly appreciated! Budget oriented would be preferred, as I'm still getting situated in Homecoming, but I won't turn my nose up at more optimized or expensive builds.
  2. Tweaked it a bit for my Tanker, but that prompt is CA$H MONEY! cel shaded, style of artstation, city of villains, background constrained in a circle, supervillain, NO CAPE, monstrous reptilian humanoid, blue teal scales, crystal spikes grow from back and shoulders, mohawk of horns, rusted chains drape over chest and shoulders, roaring a challenge yielded for reference, my Tanker
  3. I'll bite and raise you one Sound of Metal (Prime Video), a drama which follows Ruben, the drummer of a metal duo, who rapidly loses his hearing. This places stress on Ruben's most important relationship and invites old habits back into the fold as dangerous coping mechanisms. With limited options, Reuben finds himself in a rural shelter for Deaf recovering addicts. The real treat of Sound of Metal is Riz Ahmed's insanely believable performance as Ruben; and the polarizing sound design, the product of a masterful team headed by Nicholas Becker. Full disclosure: this is a big feels movie, but in the best way.
  4. An arms dealer or a military industrialist could be a fun hook, gives some freedom with AT selection.
  5. Going to see it with some friends tomorrow night after getting a little sloshed. If nothing else, it'll at least be fun to have a giggle at.
  6. Absolutely! Just felt like the character concept fell flat after launch and I wasn't interested in forcing it further than that. It just wasn't feeling organic, if that makes sense.
  7. edit: cover art is explicit (gore), protect kid eyeballs Just dropped and it is HOT. ABORTED - Dreadbringer
  8. Are you not entertained?! ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!
  9. My all time favorite game and my #1 as well! An older kid that lived on the same street as I did introduced it to me, but I was too young at the time to appreciate it. I revisited it like a decade later after grabbing it for some pocket lint on a Steam sale and have never looked back. I replay it at least once a year. #2 would be Divinity Original Sin 2, which me and my best friends did a months-long coop playthrough of. Easily my favorite gaming memory, Gavlan earned their Divinity! #3 is Counter Strike Source, Warcraft servers were amazing and I miss them so much. Honorable mention is Baldur's Gate 3, which in an age where releasing unfinished and unrefined crap is the norm, made me feel so vindicated in backing the project from day one. I am very glad it is better now, but I have never felt more cheated out of my hard earned money by a game than Cyberpunk 2077.
  10. I know @Croax placed the defense sets above the resist sets for Stalkers on their tier list, reason being the lower resist cap compared to Tankers and Brutes. I imagine Scrappers and Sentinels would follow the same logic. I want to say I saw somewhere that Brutes tend to like resist more because of their Fury mechanic, but I can't produce a source, so I may be full of hot air. Tankers can expect fantastic results with defense or resist sets, but SR is the gold standard defense set in terms of approachability.
  11. My concept for the Sav/SR Stalker was pretty much Curt Connors, scientist turned supervillain, but without the tragic angle. I found myself trying to convince myself that the concept was working in the way I envision, but couldn't fully buy into it. Still something I want to explore, just after some more development!
  12. ...and I've done a complete 180 in spectacular fashion. Savage wasn't scratching the itch quite like I was expecting, a byproduct of forcing a character concept that I had yet to fully realize. I've moved on to a Stone/Stone Tanker, concept being a reptilian alien that can harden their scales to the point of neigh impenetrability, whom I am enjoying without forcing it. Again, thanks for everyone's suggestions! I will look to revisit Savage Melee another day.
  13. This sold me pretty quickly! Made a Sav/SR Stalker the other night and have been enjoying it so far.
  14. Hi, thanks for stopping to read this! I'm a quasi-returning player, in that I played when I was way younger and had absolutely zero idea what I was doing, but had a blast all the same. I've been creeping on the forums prior to signing up and really want to give Savage Melee a go, but would like to gather some information before I dive in. My biggest questions are which AT(s?) is seeing the best performance from Savage Melee at the moment and what secondaries pair well with it? I've read that Brutes seem to like DoTs because they build Fury very efficiently, and the general consensus seems to be that skipping Hemorrhage because it lost value as a spender, but are there any other nuances worth noting? Again, thanks for just taking the time to read this! Looking forward to any responses!
