  1. I was originally leaning towards brute. Does anyone have a build that includes taking the epic fire pool and fireball?
  2. I think I've settled on em/fire for my next hero. It seems to be a good combo for decent ST & AE but I'm a little worried about /fire being squishy. My goal is to eventually be able to solo/farm +4/8 as well as do regular group content. Do you think tanker, brute, or scrapper would fit my goals better? Which would overall feel the most powerful? On a side note, I do also like /EA thematically but would lose out on burn's AE. It looks like /rad would be a decent middle ground between /ea & /fire with it having some AE dmg and being tankier than /fire, but I don't really like the beta decay toggle thematically (is this required for the set?). Thanks for any replies.
  3. After more testing I've decided to go with electric melee because it just feels more fun to me. I'll be pairing it with invulnerability and eventually taking the Mu epic pool. Question is which archetype would feel most powerful with this combination? Brute, Tanker, or Scrapper
  4. So I've taken all sets I listed in the original post to lvl 10. They were all pretty good but WM/Elec armor brute hits like an absolute truck lol. I'm not sure if elec melee ever catches up to WM in dmg but I do like the look and theme of lightning rod. If I do decide to go with a WM brute what do you think would pair best with it, elec armor or invuln?
  5. Hi all, I'm curious what everyone thinks would be the best powerset combo to get the feel of a Thor/Thunder God type character. I've never played war mace and I'm not too big on melee weapons in CoH unless someone can convince me otherwise. These are some of the combos I am considering: elec melee/invuln brute invuln/elec melee tanker elec/elec blaster elec/invuln sentinel or war mace/elec armor brute elec armor/ware mace tanker
  6. Thank you for the link. I'm trying to decide on a main character to level to 50 (have several 20-30s). I want to PVE only and have a hero that feels powerful and is good solo and on teams. I've narrowed my choices based on a concept down to the following: Human PB Human WS SS/Rad Brute Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!
  7. What does this force feedback proc do and does it really put human PB on par with human WS? I'm wanting to do a human only or human/dwarf Kheld that is a PVE monster. Another question: what are some useful human only or dual form keybinds or is there a good place to find these? Thanks
  8. Thank you for the detailed reply! I’m wondering if rad/rad is overkill on the -def debuff and I’d be better off doing fire/rad for a good combo of debuff and dmg. I do wish rad blast was better dmg because I’m liking the look of the powers. Also how hard is it to get energy blast to have KD instead of KB is that something you can only achieve at endgame?
  9. Hi all, It's been awhile since I've played this wonderful game and there are quite are few class combos added that I've never played and have a few questions. I'm looking to do a couple builds based on a concept but not sure how it will play in higher lvl pve. Rad/Rad Sentinel/Corruptor - I've heard Rad Blast as a main skill is lackluster in dmg and I'd like to do decent AE & ST dmg. Nrg/Rad Sentinel - fits concept well but nrg blast KB seems to be a pain in group pve Fire/Rad or Invuln Sentinel - doesn't fit concept as well but might play better Fire/Rad Corruptor - same as above and I like having some support for teams Which of these would be a good balance of team and solo play? Thanks for any feedback
