  2. I'd like to see Kallisti Wharf turned into an Atlas Park 2.0 for lvl 40-50+ or maybe even just 50+ like you said it could be that "incarnate hub". That zone looks so nice I think it would be a place people would want to hang out and chat, fight crime, do missions etc.
  3. Sounds like a lot of people would try hardmode content if it wasn't for the time investment. I wonder if there is a way to implement a hardmode option for say radio missions that would take a bit longer and offer more of a challenge than a regular +54x8. As far as rewards it could be something like increased chance for purple recipes drops, dunno just spit ballin here.
  4. I too had fond memories of my fire/rad troller on live so I decided to roll up a fire/rad corruptor instead for a little different flavor. Now when I played mine on live it was way back before IO sets so /rad felt really useful and helpful to a team. I found this time around that by the time I got 1 or 2 of my toggle debuffs up everything was dead and I didn't even get to throw in a fire attack. It was a fun test but don't think I will be playing that toon due to the current pace of the game.
  5. Sorry I should have clarified why I'm looking for a non /fire S/L build. I know there are rumors of burn being nerfed or "fixed" and I guess also procs could be on the radar in the future so that would hurt rad melee for farming. Now I'm not sure how these changes would affect the effectiveness of farming builds like rad/fire, they could very well still be the top. I'm mainly looking for a farming build to fall back on that's not on the "chopping block". Having something that can do regular content is always a plus too.
  6. @Infinitum I have a couple questions on your Novaforge EM/EA scrapper build. I noticed you just 1 slotted power crash. Does it get used in your aoe rotation at all or would something like overload with 1 slot get more mileage? Also I was trying to figure out how to take fireball (for concept) with this build but it looks very tight on slots. My first thought was to maybe drop bone smasher, use those slots in fireball and put the crit ATO set in total focus. Do you think I would have to sacrifice too much to fit it into this build?   7. Thanks for the replies. I've never tried dark armor so I'm wondering what makes it so good for s/l farming. I know it gets a dmg aura, heal, and nice resists but wouldn't bio offer the same things but with more offense in offensive mode?
  8. Looking for opinions on the best, fastest, most efficient s/l farming character that doesn't use fire armor. Can anything keep pace with clear times not using burn? I was thinking the following would be solid: spines/bio - brute rad/bio - brute claws/bio - brute or scrapper? claws/electric - brute or scrapper? Leave your opinions and if possible, builds. Thanks!

    Rad/fire farmer

    I guess the mids links in the farm fresh builds post are from an older version and doesn't work when I click on them. I can usually get around this by copying the link text that's normally at the bottom but these don't seem to have that. Anyone know how I can access these builds in mids current version?

  12. I can agree that some teams I've been on at +4/8 is so ridiculously easy that sometimes I can't even get an attack off before the whole group is dead. To me that's just not fun. My suggestion is why not just increase max settings to say +6 or +7 x8 for people that want the extra challenge on a full team instead of these attack adjustments. Edit: I just realized maybe the game doesn't even allow for it to go higher than lvl 54 enemies. If that's the case then maybe a setting that makes more bosses or EBs spawn to increase difficulty for those that want more of a challenge.
  13. I've been using your build on my shield/ss tanker and just wanted to say thanks, it's been great. I do have a question though. The res and def numbers I get in game are lower than what is showing in mids. Is this due to mids reflecting ATO res procs or phalanx saturation or mids just being off from in game values? Thanks!

  15. That's something I was wondering too. Would a brute without rage and a full fury bar out dmg a tanker using rage? I think the only way this build is viable on a brute is if you can reach 60%+ positional def and 65ish% s/l res to deal with the crash but I don't know if that is even possible.
  16. I have been trying to turn @Infinitum Eternal Patriot tanker build into a brute with not much success. The rage -20% def debuff seems make it really hard on brute since they don't have as much innate def/res built in to their shield abilities. So I'm to the point where I tried to drop rage in the build and replace it with cross punch but it ended up making my def numbers worse from losing the 6 slotted guassian's in rage. I did want to take fly as a travel power for concept reasons but it looks like taking SJ could open up more possibilities for extra def. I'd love some suggestions on how to fix these problems even if the response is that this power combo can only work on tanker and I'm fighting a losing battle trying to make it a brute.   17. I recently came back to the game and the new hardmode content looks exciting. I'm curious to hear people's opinions on what they think are the best melee dps AT/power combos for tackling this group content.

  19. Yes I was mainly wondering if the brute could be built with similar durability to deal with the rage crash but it looks like the tank ATOs are what might be the difference maker. Thanks!
  20. Has anyone tested 801 content with ss/def builds (ie /shield, /ea)? Does the rage crash def debuff screw you in the higher 801 content?
  21. Can the brute version shrug off the rage crash -20% def as well or is that just the tanker build? I have a couple brutes but no tankers just because I'm afraid damage will be too low, yet the feeling of being nigh unkillable does sound fun.

  23. I have a theme I'm looking to build as a ss/shield brute or tanker. Which do you think performs better with those powersets? I was also looking at street justice and while the animations look nice I feel it might lack that powerful smash feeling I'm looking for, but would be open to hearing how it performs compared to SS.
