So, what are the must take powers? Are there any that are mediocre or that are normally skipped? what's the general consensus on the set? Please feel free to answer these questions or just wax on about anything Tactical Arrow related. There aren't a lot of modern discussions on the set, they're all like 3 years old, so I figured I would get one started.

I love it, but more options are always good. As long as it isn't totally removed.

I've not messed around with bases in a long time. I have now seen a couple screenshots of people with bases that seemingly had no walls. Is this a feature or a bug, and how do you do it?

If you have a mace on your back, use Build Up (or any mace power I would assume but it's the only one I have) from the Bane pool and then hit a gun/grenade power from wolf pool, the gunfire comes from your gun, but also comes from the tip of the mace handle. If you switch to a costume without a visible mace on back, now the extra gunfire animation floats off to your side. This persists until you restart the client.

In particular, I find the proc numbers that pop up over ones head from auto-power procs like Panacea to be deeply irritating, and would like a way to turn them off without turning everything else off. But there are a lot of other situations where I think for certain people it would be nice to turn off certain outputs for floating numbers.

Today's changes to costumes let me finally realize a concept that I have not felt was realized well before. So I renamed the existing character, and then tried to make a new one with the same name about 5 seconds later and it says it is unavailable. Now, this is not a name I would expect to disappear in 5 seconds, like someone was just waiting on the trigger. It's a first and last name, pretty specific. Now, there is a famous person with this name.. we aren't talking mega famous like Angelina Jolie or something, but, well it's my name. No I'm not the famous person, but sometimes I tell someone my name IRL and they are like "oh wow, like that singer's semi-famous sister?" and I'm like, with annoyance, "No, I'm me, not her." So was this name blanked out and discredited since the last time I made her? Or is this some kind of system I am unaware of where I cannot use the name right after it's deleted, some kind of cooldown? Thanks for any replies.

I say go with Invision Power Board. I have used it extensively as a moderator at a game company and I really liked it. It's also really slick and easy to use.
