  1. Last thing I just thought of, take a look at the Kheldian ATOs. A Superior Kheldian's Grace will give you 10% recharge, a damage and accuracy bonus, and psi/toxic res. Only 3 of the Superiour Essence Transfer will give you 10% recharge as well. You could also use the regular Essence Transfer 3 slot for the 6.25% recharge. Kinda nice that way since PBs are usually low on slots and if you're going for recharge you only need 3 slots in two powers. You can also throw a 6th slot into a PBAoE power like Solar Flare/Dawn Strike and put the Fury of the Gladiator chance for -Res proc which can help up your damage.

  2. Also, our PBs don't have a lot of Psi res, so depending on what you want to do, you can build it in with set IOs. I have 50% psi res on my guy and Capped res for everything else so I can take stuff from any source (looking at you Carnies/Arachnos). The Impervium Armor +6% psi res is not a unique so you can have 5 of those (30% psi right there). The ful Impervium Armor set bonus gives you 4.5% (so all together 10.5% psi res). Aegis has one as well, although that one is a unique but it does provide +5% and 20% mez protection. I probably wouldn't slot the Rez and give those slots to the shields or 6 slot an attack for a proc IO.

  3. Hey dude! I like the build! I think you could put that panacea proc into health that way a power is always on to proc it. You could also put the performance shifter proc into stamina. I took Glinting Eye because gleaming bolt has really low damage but it's one or the other so...lol Glinting Eye in nova form does more damage right now than my bright nova blast lol. You could also put Luck of the Gambler Defence/7.5% Global Recharge IO into Combat Flight, Quantum Acceleration and I took combat jumping/stealth/grant invis pool powers for my max of 5 LotG. All of my heals also have a 5 panacea set for the 7.5% recharge as well. (The panacea recharge 7.5% and LotG 7.5% do have different texts so you can stack 5 of each if you're build allows for it for lots of easy +recharge)

  4. Here are the binds I'm using as well. I have a Razer Naga mouse so I use that for almost all powers. I would have the forms on the mouse buttons 4 and 5 but I'm having issues with them. Anyway...

  7. I like it and the challenge of not using purples.  8)  It's also a great feeling to have a fun character build from an AT that not a lot of people play. Sometimes when I get in a team, some eyebrows get raised and they start asking questions :D I may have to copy your build to get some inspiration for my WS. I play PB mostly.

  8. My main is a PB and I love him. Capped res all the time (50% psi res on my own or can be easily capped with a team) and capped hit points, endurance management, self reliant. Forms give you different utilities and allow you to fill holes based on what the team might need. Dwarf has a taunt, not as powerful as a tanks but you can be a tank or pull aggro off a blaster/controller. My heals are up in about 18s and heal over half my health. I can take damage and dish it out with one enemy or a crowd. PBs are self reliant which is what I like about them. I think they are more survivable than WSs espcially against a single target like a long AV fight. I'm working on my WS next but it's hard not to play my PB. I'm working on uploading my build soon.

  9. I don't mind how they are now all that much but I pretty much just use them as a nuke a point blank range. I think it would be cool if instead of detonating, they shoot out blasts like WS pet. Not crazy damage but enough to make PBs have a little higher DPS. Thoughts?

  10. What if sniper powers become instant cast if you are in closer range. IRL it's easy to aim at something if you're closer to it.

     

    Funny you should mention this, because over the years this was not the first attempt at making snipes more useful, and triggering fast snipe based on range was one of the first things attempted. It was also the most universally detested. Runner goes away, suddenly the snipe cast time changes without notice. Someone knocks something out of fast range, the same. To make things worse, the game has no way to base the ring highlight on target attributes, so its not possible to light up the ring to let the caster know he is close enough for a fast snipe, other than to try.

     

    No different if a melee toon has something knocked out of range I think, but at least the snipe could hit them, but they would have to aim a precision hit (or if they have enough +tohit, insta snipe).

     

    Thank for the reply dude! To bad we can't base it off target attributes. I think just leave sniper powers as there were in i24 with the +tohit bonus=insta. If people want something out of their build, they have to focus on it and with so many buff with IO sets and incarnates, it's easier to fill holes in builds. Plus, it seems like everyone takes the leadership pools these days.

  11. I 3 slot my health with numina, miracle, and panacea procs and performance shifter proc in stamina. Other than that, sets will lower the cost of my other powers and forms have more recovery. I never have problems. I play PB and I also have Conserve Energy just in case I'm fighting malta, carnies, freaks, etc...

  12. I have an idea, but not sure if it's doable. But I would guess that these proposed changes are so sniper powers are more useful? (I thought they were pretty good with the i24 changes and tohit). What if sniper powers become instant cast if you are in closer range. IRL it's easy to aim at something if you're closer to it. If you're farther out, it takes longer but you line up the shot for more precision. Now if we leave the +tohit giving instant snipe. Then those builds who want set their character up that way aren't penalized but can use the high damage insta snipe no matter what range.

     

    It kinda helps everyone. People who don't like having to get the +tohit, still get to use snipe in their attack chain as another ST attack. But if they get more +tohit then it gets more powerful. win/win?

     

    Again, not sure if that's possible. I know the game checks range not sure if it would have to be two powers. For instance, you choose the sniper attack and it grants you two powers. A quick shot and a steady shot, the ladder being the more powerful one. Anyway, my two cents.
