And Stone Melee. We need Stone Melee too. Might as well also throw in some sort of Stone Mastery secondary for Blasters too.

Ok so I've been gone a minute and popped in just now to see what I missed. It seems like I missed something pretty big. Quick question, is this any good on Scrappers?

Also, when do we get Super Strength?

There are some games I *only* like to play on "god mode," including Baldur's Gate, Civilzation, and Don't Starve, because generally I'm going for a different sort of challenge. In Baldur's Gate I set all my stats to 25 and give myself custom made overpowered gear, and use my companions as loot mules while I explore the world and role play without fear of death. In Civlization I build a custom map where I have all the resources, and I give myself loads of gold, so whenever another civlization makes demands of me I can just pay them in gold or resources (instead of tech) and not only beat them to the end of the tech tree, but also absorb all their cities with my amazingly high culture score, and have all my opponents showering me with kisses when I win.

I love this. I didn’t play on god mode in Civ 5, but I kept it on easy enough settings so I could do other things while I played and still have fun and tell interesting stories. I usually played as England becuase I liked their bonus. Well one time I was really not paying attention and Napolean of all people captured London. I got it back very quickly, but going forward I made sure France was in every game and no matter how I won I made sure to eliminate them. I played Civ 5 more for the stories than I did the actual strategy.

Oh man. I'll never get to 1k rep before my perma-ban.  😭

They still let me post, so clearly there are no standards. You should be fine.

  4. But PUGs offer randomness and keep you on your toes compared to teaming with the same people and getting to know them. It's the Scrapperlock of teaming. I have one friend that I would team with on a regular basis, but other than that I haven't been part of a SG since I played on Victory around the time IH was changed from a toggle to a click.

Looked at a blaster because of its amazing DPS. Played my first blaster a month ago. It was fire/atomic and currently level 46 when he was abandoned. Stopped playing him because I was sick and tired of creatures putting me to sleep and then killing a helpless blaster. Unless I had a breakfree inspiration (or about 90 of them, I was in trouble). Didn't just give up. Instead I tried to find a better way (and I did).

A blaster lacks protection against lots of things including sleep, hold, etc. Now a sentinel has all those protections and also has beam weapon, but a sentinel's damage output is about 25% less than a blaster's. It's just like trying to play as a defender or corruptor. That is until I discovered Bio Armor. With this defense you can play in offensive mode and gain back that 25% difference. It may not be an exact difference, but it sure is nice. My beam/bio sentinel is level 41 and rising. He is a "blast" to play and I don’t get put to sleep. When I hit a creature, I can watch their health drop quickly. It is far better than any other sentinel I have played and abandoned due to lack of DPS (my first sentinel fire/will had to go through every attack three times to kill anything (abandoned at level 38)). The beam/bio sentinel is by far the most powerful sentinel and comes close to tieing with a blaster.

Maybe even better. How much DPS can a blaster do if they're dead?

I dunno, multiple people have done solo Master ITFs with Blasters so I think they are pretty good.

As for the whole boomer/gen x/millennial thing:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LD0x7ho_IYc

I am telling EVERYONE that I think they should watch this.  Because it applies to everyone.  (Except @MunkiLord, 'cause I know he already saw it!)

That's right! Now everyone get off my damn lawn! I'm also an older Millenial(born in 1982) so I can say that.

Also whatever it is that brought this thread about would be solved if everyone would just try and be more like me and/or just do whatever I say.

Breaking up Troll raves in the caves in The Hollows always seemed like a real jerk move anyway.
They are just hanging out, getting high, dancing and having drum circles in a cave.
Why is that my business? Why am I beating them up?
    Poor guys...

This right here! Instead of beating them up, perhaps be nice and they'll share their rave candy!

Hey man love the build - for fire ball, why annihilation over Ragnarok?

Honestly I don't remember. This build isn't bad, but there are several I've seen that I found to be significantly better. This was my first end game build after coming back and I was definitely rusty. Been a while since I played it but if I remember correctly endurance management wasn't very good and my incarnate choices weren't planned at all.

These days she is my main market character so I only log for that purpose. She lives on top of the Atlas statue in Atlas Park and uses self destruction every time I log in.

  9. Fun makes me smile, I think that is a good general way to describe the word to me. Going into a mob and blowing it up is fun, this makes me smile. Barely surviving a +3x8 mob of Carnies is fun. Playing Hades puts a big ass smile on my face. In most cases I see fun and joy as two sides of the same coin.

Fun by itself isn't enough to keep me engaged for too long though. I need something to work toward. First it was the soft cap, then soloing various TF, another build, X amount of influence, etc. For AC Odyssey I wanted to get every vantage point, Hades all the achievements, etc. Mix in fun of course, but I personally like that long term goal that requires repetition and can sometimes be tedious.

  10. I like to walk up to random people and offer a trade, if they accept I'll give them a random amount and just run away. And never respond to the messages when they say thanks or just send a question mark because they are confused. Or sometimes in Atlas broadcast I'll see someone offer X million influence if you can find them. I'll double that amount for people not to find that person. Giving away influence is something nice to do sure, but in the end it is about me and my amusement.

SS would be pretty weak if a direct port with Build up instead of Rage.

Jab and Punch have some horrible DPA due to their low recharge.  Haymaker is too stellar either.

If you made Jab say 4 seconds, punch 8 seconds and Haymaker 12 seconds perhaps.

Then you could switch to build up potentially.  It would look a lot more like Stone Melee.

We should just do Stone Melee instead! That's what I really want but I assume SS will be first.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla, awesome so far.

Eh, it was good. I like it, but I LOVED Odyssey. Still playing Hades every day and started playing Immortals Phoenyx Rising a few days ago and I'm really liking it so far.

If I end up loving Immortals that will be a nice little streak Greek Mythology will have for me over the last couple years.

1.) Is TW a major problem within the playerbase that it has caused any disrutption?

Answer: No. Not even a little bit. "But what about..?" Nope. You're just wrong, sorry. It's just a private server where people come to enjoy a classic game and were promised extremely limited tampering and at the same time any changes to be made were to be buffs and/or additional content. Nerfs make no sense and on a private server simply smell of someone sitting in a "dev" position that wants to change things for the sake of changing them.

Emphasis mine. When was that bolded part promised?
