  1. I have at the moment on 191.25% global recharge bonus.  There are still rooms for two more sets of purples.

Since I have 3 FF +recharge proc and can keep them up rather frequently, meaning at the moment I am on 291.25% almost all the time.

Most of the attack powers are around 80% recharge time, which I may use a few boosters to bring up the % more.  So eventually adding to my current global recharge bonus, my main powers are close to the cap recharge.

Does it worth to get those purples?  Or just get 1 set keeping to my global bonus to around 200%?  After all, I can get to almost cap recharge by myself already: 200% global bonus + constant FF proc + 80-90% on individual power.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

  2. One other I would like to do to improve on is to have a clearer visual effect on the boundary of VG. I don’t want to stand too close in a melee fight yet not too far to be out of range. It is so hard to get it right...

otherwise I personally do not mind changing to a cast on ally power like that of MM.

  3. I will need to log on the game later to check the numbers. But i don’t normally have problem as the soft control from Storm is well enough to avoid a lot of incoming hits.

Of course, if you are aiming for softcapping defence, Thugs, Bots and Beasts are your only choice.

But then, I specifically said “dps-strong” not def-strong.

  4. Can a Blaster be tanky?

certainly I am not talking about tank or brute or scrapper level of durability. But I am looking into the possibility of a tough ranged class that is not a Sentinel.

    Any advice and suggestion?

    Thanks!

Assuming you're talking about in Empowering Circuit, yes? If you're just firing it off between you and your immediate pet-horde, you might not see it as often as the moment you bump that list up to 2-3 more people around you. In my experimenting with it I fired the chain off 5-6 times with nothing, but then went another 5 shots with the proc going off each time. It isn't a consistent/guaranteed thing, and it only impacts your character, not any of the pets. In order to start stacking into the doubles I had to be surrounded by a far larger amount of people, start off an actual player character, and have at least 6-7 stacks of Static to get the extra jumps; even then it wasn't very often.

So, it’s not really worth slotting that proc in EC...

This looks to still be possible. Tested a bunch of the uniques just to see for myself what was and wasn't going on with the chain effects. Only thing I haven't tried out was Panacea because I'm budgeting the character out. Updated my previous post with inclusions, but specific to your post the Gaussian's still goes off. Ran across two interesting things when testing the procs...

First is that this is just one sample of having the Power Transfer: Heal proc in Energizing Circuit. It's trigger chance is occurring per target hit, back on the caster for a heal.

What was the more interesting thing I ran into, however, was back to the Gaussian's thing:

Yes, double proc on a single activation. So long as I had a couple of non-pet bodies in the mix, getting at least one was fairly consistent, the double aspect I'm going to explore a bit more and see what I can push with chain counts.

I put Gaussian's in my MM. but it only fired once in a while on myself. What seems to be the problem?

  7. I think I am going to try a Mind/Energy dom.  What does the "-25% strength to confuse for 10s on target"?  Does it make the target more susceptible to be confused?

By the way, is it advisable to slot a FF +rech proc in every available powers of Energy just to get more recharge?

    Thanks!

I have a Ninja/Storm that's fully Incarnated.  From my tests on Beta server Demons are much much better.      Ninja/Storm is playable but it's not that strong compared to other sets.

    Dead Ninjas don't do DPSTM

...you spend a lot of time resumming.   (Not as much as Ninja/TA but still bad.)

The -Res from Demons means they do more damage.   It's a force multiplier that makes your storm powers do more damage, your Lore pets, your teammates etc.      But on top of that Demons are much much sturdier than Ninjas.  Demon's have the best Res, and they have an AOE heal.  The Res shield and heal heal also buff your MM.    On top of that Demons have a 4th pet power giving you more room to slot all the pet uniques and still chase set bonuses.    Take Ninjas for theme or challenge.  But if you're min-maxing, Demons outperform them by miles.

I am leaning towards Demons too.  I have a Ninjas/Storm upto lv35.  I am still pulling my hair out on a regular +2 mission.

I am trying a Demons/Ele now just to have a feel of the novelty of /Ele.  It is rather sturdy but Empowering Circuit does not do enough +Dam as I hope.

  9. Empowering Circuit seems to be a bit underwhelming.

It only does well on the first target and the rest along the chain gets only half of the buff.  What is the general consensus of this power?  By the way, I have been testing this power with Gaussian's proc.  And sadly it only affect the caster not teammates or pets.
