So, first off, I'm playing on a Macbook Pro with El Capitan as the OS. On Friday, I bought and adapter to go to hdmi and pkugged it into my 4k tv. It was working amazingly until yesterday. At first, it was just when I was in a zone with cars and the cars sounds would loop until I flew up high. Then, certain powers started to loop.
I tried a different character and ran a DFB team. It got so bad, I had to turn sound off completely. My question, is should I just relegate myself to just the laptop display or am I missing something?

I'll chime in and say that I rarely seen enhancement drops either. This is from running normal missions, mostly. I'm on Indomitable and I may get an enhancement or two per mission, sometimes not any. It's hard to build up the influence needed for keeping my character fairly enhanced when nothing is dropping to use or sell. I'm at level 17 right now, btw.

More negative attention is bad. I would always suggest don't infringe, as that just adds fuel to the fire. Make something g original, and make it easier on the homecoming team.

I like the name system. Makes me feel unique knowing I'm the one and only so-and-so.
Before City of Heroes went free-to-play, I would have agreed with you. The problem now is that everyone and their mother can create an account, potentially fill it up with 1,000 characters, take a lot of valuable names, and then disappear.
I've already come across four different triple-boxers. People running three accounts simultaneously. That's the potential for three thousand names.
Given enough time, it's going to get to the point where the only available character names are B0b12x34.
Near the end, didn't they implement something that would free names up on accounts that hadn't been used in X amount of time? Perhaps a "character hasn't been used in X amount of time and the name becomes free again" type scenario?

Forgive me if this has been asked and answered already. If you are on Halcyon now and want to move to the canadian servers since most of us are on the est zone. Will that be possible or is it just for people that want to move to the EU server?
There's a transfer character option on the character select screen for transferring to a new shard.
Sweet, as there is a good chance that I'll move off Halcyon because I live in the US. Just makes more sense to have servers closer unless they are completely overwhelmed.
First, a big THANK YOU to those responsible for bringing this back! Second, I'm glad I read this thread to the end, because I had this same question. I started on Halcyon just because the others were always 3 red dots. I'll be sure to move the couple characters I've made to another server soon.

Hmmm, I'm honsetly not sure. I just discovered and installed last Saturday. Do they patch often? Wondering if I can just patch via Island Rum and circumvent the issues others are having by still using the main shortcut.

I'm playing on a Mac and I don't use the island rum launcher, I just made a shortcut straight from the COH application itself and it works like a charm. Here's the steps to do this:
1. Open up your drive
2. Open the Applications folder
3. "Drag" the COH icon to the desktop to create a shortcut
4. Use that to launch the game and use your game login
I get zero crashes and the game runs smooth.

First memorable moment was joining up with other players and running missions during the beta. My friends hadn’t gotten invites yet, so I ran with a random group that ended up being a ton of fun. Even the Vahz missions. ;)
