Oh... I think a dev should say that critiques of ideas based on "dev ability" or "dev time" are stupid, and that people shouldn't do that... assuming the devs agree. I think they do, but I could be wrong.

Then the people that don't understand that it's stupid can say "oh, dang... I didn't realize that was stupid" and stop.

...are you reading your words? I mean reeeeealllly reading them. They are the words of a petulant child. You've called everyone except the holy ghost "stupid". Who the fuck does that? Petulant children. That's who.

Real talk? At this point you're embarrassing yourself. You came in on a high and mighty soapbox, talked down to everyone (your usual MO), called everyone stupid and acted like ONLY YOU could lead us to the light. A GM (following your request) politely suggested you were out of line. Your response? "LOL ok".

    I mean...what?!?!

Jesus H Christ, where's the Tylenol?

If they were even to consider going voiced, I’d say instead of AI the community could donate their own voice work to the project. Homecoming is entirely supported by volunteer player donations. Doing some volunteer voice work would just be a different way to show support.

It would be a LOT of work though and really increase the size of CoH on the hard drive, so I don’t think it’s a particularly good investment of Homecoming’s resources. But if they were to do it, players volunteering their voices would be the way to go.

    Dibs on Dillo! Hoooorb.

  3. This is kinda tongue in cheek, but I think it does demonstrate how the thought process of "I can do it so everyone else can as well" tends to be had at the top of the tower and not the bottom. I don't think the average player is decked out in IO sets and min/maxed to the gills.

  4. In preparation for where this thread may go, we here at Skyhawke Sporting Goods have a nice selection of bats. Sturdy, lightweight, well balanced and more than ready to pummel any equines that may have slipped the bonds of this mortal coil.
