Really?  I don't know.  Better than Secret Invasion and Echo, but I'm not sure I'd call it better than any of the other series (mind you, I've only watched part of the first What If).

I haven't finished Echo yet, and the less said about Secret Invasion the better. I actually liked it better the Cap and Winter Soldier, but it looks like I'm in the minority on that. Seriously, that series is so forgettable no one talks about it anymore.

  2. That video was far longer than it needed to be. The error was spending GoT money on a show without a GoT audience. The end. While yes, the twerking scene was not needed, but calling it "sh*t" is just wrong. It was overall decently reviewed. I felt like the TV show did the character justice. That final episode is going to hold up even 20 years from now. I know when they added the one actress as basically a scene stealer people on Marvel's social media loved that character. I also find their point about targeting women when their fans base is really men odd. Did they not see the Wonder Woman film which did over $800 million? Yes, the film was really good, but you can't tell me they weren't doing similar in the film versus the show in terms of poking fun at the patriarchy. Plus, they brought up the whole 'woke' nonsense. +90% of people complaining about Disney or anything being woke just proves to me they don't know what they are talking about and make me yearn for the days when people didn't value some randos on Youtube and followed actual journalists. In the end, She-Hulk I thought was one of the better Marvel shows.

  3. I'm not sure how many of these series need to keep going, but I enjoyed it and thought it was one of the better Marvel series they did. The reality of the situation is Mark Ruffalo isn't getting younger, so at some point even if he is brought in, it would likely just be for voice work. My guess is this is why Skaar was done along with Red Hulk although I don't expect that to be a long arc.

Why there are no X-men at this point is beyond me,

X-Men are being covered this year via a new cartoon and Deadpool 3. Technically Ms. Marvel is a mutant in the MCU. IIRC, they literally couldn't use the word mutant until last year.

  5. I can't fathom any actor being tied to an X-Men character which Marvel has to use due to a contract. The X-Men trilogy was completed. Wolverine is done. Hugh Jackman even said he was done with Wolverine until Ryan Reynolds/Marvel essentially begged him to come back. Also, this would be similar to FF or the Defender characters from Netflix. Once you switch studios, there is no contract which goes between the studios. Hell, there were like 3 different Punisher movies, and I think they all used different actors for Punisher.

I watched through E3. I find the series solid, but in the 6-7 range which feels like a default for anything D+ these days.

  6. X-Men Spoiler:

    Spoiler

They already used Beast in The Marvels. I'm not saying they would use the same actor going forward or it was the previous actor. I honestly haven't checked, but to say they can't use the X-Men is false.

I saw a lot of people in the server running the battle axe/radiation armor combo so I decided to try it myself (and because I like playing as a big woman with an axe). My damage and resistance is ok, but I run out of endurance really quickly. Should I slot some endurance reduction enhancements on my skills or the stamina skill?

Since you are on the newer side and might not have the currency for IOs, here's my general rule for starting out.

For Single target attacks you want 1 acc, 1 end reduc, 3 damage, 1 recharge.

For AoE attacks you want 1 acc, 2 end reduc, 3 damage.

For virtually any toggle, you want an end reduc in it.

If you are under level 22, double the number of slotting for what you have so lets say 2 acc and 2 end reduc. BA is fantastic, but is absolutely sucks end. I would also do this with common IOs. You can use level 25s all the way to 50.

Is that something the other controllers can do or is that limited mostly to an Ill/Rad?

An Ill/dark at end game on a team of 8 is someone with an audience of 7.

I'll also toss in Fire/rad, Fire/dark, Fire/time. Those work for Fire due to offering End management tools. If you are specifically soloing certain things, ie GMs, then yes, Ill is better, but Fire has a lot more AoE damage which I find works well enough for teams and general soloing.

Note, I'm not saying Earth/storm is bad because it is a genuine control monster and one of my favorite controllers ever, but if you want damage, it will be later in the build and using procs to do so.

  9. IIRC, Disney was expected to run in the red this year as well, and then be fine in 2025. In all honestly, Disney+ is still slow at putting out new content compared to other services. I think it is still way too early to know how the streaming wars will work out as various services buy out others.

The Tolkien estate isn't going to be happy now his works are heading for public domain. In 20 years it will be in the public domain in every country except the US. They better milk that series hard as soon they won't be able to sue anyone.

I know people have issue with Peter Jackson's take on LotR, but I think it and the books have me covered. Amazon is already proving it isn't easy to take that IP and make good with it.

Great ideas! I probably should have specified that I'm looking at the late 20's - early 30's levels.

This leads a bit to */* since you have both T9s by 30. The biggest issue for the melee attacks sets is how smooth the attack chain is at lower levels. Claws, StJ, MA, Kat, and some others work here. There are slower/higher damage attacks sets like BS, BA, WH, etc which won't fill in until later. I felt like on my BA it took until the 40s for the recharge and end management to really start to click. I have a hard time thinking of an armor which would need to wait until 35+ for it to truly kick in.

Focus, Eviscerate, and Shockwave aren't really necessary to use or enjoy Claws.  The set operates just fine on 3 attacks, Follow Up, and Spin if that's what you want

I'll agree on Evis, but Claws is really not that great if you remove the other two. Focus is its best ST DPA. Shockwave is its best AoE DPA. This says nothing about the ability to use 100% knockdown in a spammable way when using a single IO. I've kept countless bosses on their rear ends never taking a hit or so few my health bar hardly moved. FYI, that third attack? I one slot it and don't even put any enhancement into it since its DPA isn't worth it. Also, three attacks means you also are skipping Slash, which is just all the more WTF are you even doing at that point. Kin melee is better than a 3 attack Claws, and as someone who has done the numbers, Kin is horrifically bad.

Saying that, Claws is as smooth of a ride while leveling that you will find and it certainly blooms early.
