  1. It's not an invite-only deal. The fact is the database for VV has issues so unfortunately you can't just go to the site and create an account like you used to since the email function doesn't work.

So now if you need a new VV account, you have to let the admins know and they can reach out to you to set it up. You don't even have to download a Discord app, you can run it in your browser so it's really not that "excludey" as you put it.

Gold Title Requests. Yes, this was something that existed on the Secret Server pre-Homecoming. And yes, I'm aware that there would be a massive demand for them here, which is why I would suggest this: At the start of the month, requests are opened for no more than characters per account for a week (that is, you can only nominate three of your characters to have one added.) Since they can only be granted by GM's, it means they will be fully vetted and always subject to approval. From what I understand, the character limit is virtually unlimited for gold titles, so I'd recommend a soft cap of 38 characters.

This would be a great addition, if GMs are willing to do it.

I'm just glad that common sense finally won. No one likes being called a 'fucking idiot' & being taunted/ridiculed because someone has a little power trip & thinks that making fun of someone for complaining about dying is funny. You know who you are & I will never forgive & forget you for of the crap you've pulled.

Seems a bit much over a video game, but you do you.

  4. Super excited to see Supergroup Recruitment events returning! I'm the leader of the Global Defense Force and am looking forward to be there with the GDF for this event.

GDF IC INFO: Thanks to a partnership with the United Nations, the Global Defense Force has made its mission a simple one: Protect the world from any threat that seek to do harm. Based out of their orbiting space station, The Beacon, the Global Defense Force is ready at a moment's notice to stop evil not just in Paragon City, but wherever it appears across the globe.

GDF OOC INFO: The Global Defense Force is a returning Silver/Modern Age-themed RPSG from the Virtue server with the main focus on classic Superhero vs Supervillain stories. We also have an established relationship with the Sinister Squad, a player-ran VG, so expect some big events relating to that on the horizon. All of our events are coordinated through our Discord server and anyone looking for more information on the GDF can reach me here on the forums, ingame @Starforge, or on Discord at Starforge#0133.

"Just smile and nod"? Is this what this thread has come to?

I mean, I haven't read most of the recent pages but I don't think it's taking a shot in the dark to guess that a lot of people are upset another AT is getting brought up which makes their special snowflake AT lesser in their eyes because of it. So yeah, might as well just let it happen and see how it actually performs in a live setting.

so because the possibility of others feeling the same way as i do they cant be invited? nice to know, this is why HC is becoming totalatarian, if it doesnt fit with HC, then it wont fit anywhere.

It's not rocket science, man. They don't want people involved who consistently bad-mouth the people they're trying to negotiate with. It's also just a video game so people that are still, 7 years after the fact, demonizing a company for shutting down a video game is a little too unhinged to have involved in a serious negotiation.

Seems to me that players don't mind kicking in to cover upkeep costs since monthly donation goals are being met within literally minutes.  Not sure what you said here is a reason to keep things secret.

It was a comment on him saying the private server should have gone public a year into its existence. The fact was the player base was a fraction of what HC has and they had to wrap their heads around the goofy code. They weren't in a position to "go public" as much as some internet dwellers seem to think.
