  1. Just sounded fun.  I know demons are noisy but I am ignoring that for the moment.  Mine is at 28 so far.  How is this combo?  Anyone give it a shot?  Any of our build masters out there have some examples?

    I've never been much into proc-loading the pets.  Secondaries are a different story.  Maybe I need to try procs in pets though (outside of the defensive procs I mean.)

  2. Couple things:  Can the description in Tide Pool explain you can only have one out at a time please?

    I notice that even if there are zero enemies around and you place Shifting Tides on a teammate/pet, it locks you down anyway during part of the animation.  I am not sure if this is intended  and follows rooting behavior rules

  3. Patch 7/15/24

    28.1.6228

    If you defeat an enemy and then put down Tide Pool (and did not previously use it until now) it will start to kd enemies.  This may be correct behavior but I wanted to make note of it in case.  I probably missed it in earlier patch notes but Brine seems to be perma out of the box.  I kind of wish others like that (Benumb, Heat Exhaustion) were like that.  Barrier Reef looks great.

    Hello @JayboH,

    Shifting Tides can be anchored on either friend or foe, but the damage will only effect foes while the buffs only effect friends.

    Thank you.  As mentioned with the Tide Pool buff icon hover text, some of these descriptions may be a bit confusing with the set and your sentence added to them (or something similar) would help clarify in-game.  The only bug I've found today so far is defeated enemies taking damage.

  5. 7/12/24 patch 28.1.6212

    Shifting Tides doesn't seem to have any kind of sound effect when toggled on.

    I am a little confused by the description - if you put it on an ally, say, your pet (Barrier Reef,) is that ally going to be taking random damage?  ...or is that only if it is put on enemies?  If put on enemies, does it do random damage to allies?

    I notice that it continues to do damage to defeated enemies, I see orange numbers long after their defeat (but before they are teleported to jail.)  Some of this is probably the ticks from Interface though.

    Tide Pool's buff icon for the player describes all the debuffs on hover text as well, making it seem like it is debuffing the players/allies.

    Who you can use it on and who the effects affect can be separate.

    You can see this on City of Data in powers that affect both allies and enemies, where bad things are generally tagged:

    if !target.isFriend? && Ne(target>entref, source>entref)

    While good things will be tagged:

    if target.isFriend? && Ne(target>entref, source>entref)

    The difference is the ! which you can generally assume means "not".

    Sorry I was updating that post as I was messing around.  City of Data will probably be updated once it hits the main servers for this set but I think I understand some of that.

  8. I'll say this (as a scrapper,) I do like Instant Healing as a toggle.  Not sure about the rest for the above reasons.  I am pretty sure my enjoyment of it as a toggle is not due to nostalgia but actual performance.  Other than Dark Regeneration, the Regeneration set should probably outheal every other armor set without trying, but I would think it should stick with that theme and have decently high debuff resists especially regen debuffs.  I'd buff up Resilience or maybe consider making it a new click instead of an auto power, to keep it as a clicky set while still having a couple toggles.  I dunno
