Note that Achilles Heel is a 3.5PPM Proc which inflicts -20% res for 10s, and Annihilation is a 3.0PPM Proc which inflicts -12.5% res for 10s.
Note that Annihilation is not in the picture shown.
Interesting though. Worth proccing it up as shown do you think?

My main: Ninja/Dark. Doesn't even happen to me zoning either. Not going to/from Kallisti Wharf for instance or when entering or exiting missions.
Edit: Are you sure you aren't just hitting a lag spike from server traffic?
No it does it every single time.
Muted audio with several instances of the issue

Are there specific maps or doors doing that? Because I've been playing a MM all week and that hasn't happened.
Nope.
This is specific to zoning, not just doors that open with no loading/instancing. Which primary?

My concern is that acid mortar may be treated as a pet and only proc in the AoE on casting the pet
No definitely not, they definitely proc but I want to know how it is supposed to work.

Another door issue that may NOT be minor dependent on it being hot:
We still have the weird code that requires players like Masterminds to resummon all pets 3 times with each upgrade. You walk into a door, and on the other side the pets will enter 3x, one for each stage of their upgrade path. That means you cannot utilize much of your primary until that entire process is complete.
Another issue that stems from this is that players that have powers that are toggles on others will always de-toggle when using elevator doors. Now sure, this isn't a bug, the game is doing what it is supposed to do: de-toggle after a specific range/distance - however this is rather annoying - could it be given a timer before de-toggling? Say 10-15 seconds?

I brought it up on Twitch with others confirming: Excelsior and apparently Everlasting don't seem to be keeping up with the influx. Random rubberbanding, cooldown timers being wonky, also dropped inputs seem to occur. I think the clock being weirdly out of sync isn't new but the performance of Excelsior seems to be iffy at times. The claim about Everlasting also having the same issues were from another Twitch viewer and I don't normally go on Everlasting super often.

No kb protection would drive me crazy, even if it barely happens due to ranged def.
Looks good otherwise.

Fire
Ice
Water
Seismic
Electrical
Sonic
Assault Rifle
Radiation
Dual Pistols
Dark
Psychic
Energy
Beam Rifle
ArcheryStorm - I don't have enough experience with this set yet.
I really think Seismic turned out pretty great. The nuke ends up corpse blasting often but you get used to throwing it in after some experience.
Assault Rifle is better than it seems - Buckshot is the only thing I dislike but you can use Force Feedback proc there and I usually skip Beanbag.
Psychic's issues are probably tied to its activation speed mostly.
Energy is decent but goes down a bunch due to making AOEs more difficult because of kb, which is too bad. Pretty set.
Archery - good god you hit the nail on the head. It's practically unplayable on a Defender by the way. That first attack just tickles things. It's so bad damage-wise.
Sonic has had a few adjustments in the last couple of years including the very last big patch.
Radiation falls right in the middle for me. Achilles Heel proc set.
Dark is so weird with how it differs amongst the ATS - that kb cone is skippable for me on Blasters for example. Wish it had Night Fall instead.
I think Dual Pistols should have stronger differences between the Swap Ammo types. Like really go strong one way in each.
Beam Rifle for some reason has never clicked for me. I've made level 50s and I don't know, maybe the sound fx gets to me or something. Strangely Sonic doesn't bug me at all by comparison. The gimmick for it works well enough. Maybe I should give it another try.
I like Electrical after the revamp for single target (and the nuke.) Never was nuts about its AOEs and I typically skip Short Circuit. Ball Lightning is pretty weak and could use a boost. I actually really like the Voltaic pet. It does a lot of work after awhile.
Fire, Ice, and Water have been written about a lot over the years. I really like Ice. Water just got buffed.

Seemed okay tbh. What was odd?
Just the rotation timing like you were saying. Slow clearing too. I probably hit the Psionic Armor cooldowns too early - I should wait until I am maybe lower health before hitting the absorb again - but the set feels like you should be proactive with that and then get your stacks up all the time too.
-
What - are you just using Typhoon's Edge and Sweeping Strike for doing any damage

Pretty much, but with Fly. I stopped playing EM a while back since the ST rotation is long and TF's animation is just as long. I get the same out of Fire Melee with simpler rotations.
Yeah, you can see this is kind of odd (no winter IOs, only tier 2 alpha)
This is just a +1x8 for testing

Built it and used Crushing Impacts in place of the winter pieces which I can grab later. That nearly puts me at the Smashing cap anyway. Only got a tier 1 alpha so far.
It is a bit weird with the rotation, you're right. More of a boss killer character than a AOE monster. Aura of Insanity does a lot of work but then beyond the odd rotation you have to hit the absorb and the Consume Psyche regularly too.

Again I appreciate your efforts, this is great.

It's not perfect but something like this.
Brute (EM - Psionic Armor).mbd 42.78 kB · 1 download
To fill up ET some slots were scrounged so the regen is down to 114. Can take the slots from Boxing and Brawl to Impenetrable Skin it back to 119 HPS. As long as you're conscientious about using Psycho Barrier against the factions that do -recharge (or macro it to your movement keys/attacks) in order to always have three stacks it ought to be fine too.
The ST chain is TF, BS, (1.5), EP (1), ET (1.2) EP, (1), BS (1.5) =6.2 seconds and TF recharges in 6.5 seconds allowing to start over. You can skip most of this rigmarole by using slow ET but I find 2.9 second animations unethical. When Hasten is down throw more EPs between attacks to filler up. In practice it's more like, throw TF, use EP and BS while looking for a mob with high HP left and snipe it with ET, mop it up with EP and BS, which doesn't conduct itself to such clean rotations, but EP's a good filler that's good DPA so when in doubt throw it out.
Thank you, this looks nice, I appreciate it! Is this how you would build yours if you had one?

Why? Sure it's slower animation but your then sacrificing AoE. Barrage/Bonesmasher recharge fast & have pretty quick animations. Those will be your Meat & Potato chain to be honest.
But you can go about however you want. You asked me for my thoughts on it. I think different then you obviously. But hopefully you can use it as a template.
Honestly the focus mode I found never really felt all that good to me, sure if you wanna build around it. But a lot times your sacrificing a lot other things.
I am learning and asking questions and requesting opinions, that's all. 🙂

Here you go. Builds by me in my build post.....
Also been running on fumes, haven't eaten in 4 days and been napping a lot.

Why can't you eat?
Thank you for the brute build. I will probably have to change something to get Total Focus, since Energy Transfer will be stuck in its slow animation cycle without it. I assume Power Crash would be the one to dump - or would Whirling Hands be better? Infiltration's slots could go into Precognition for no end cost but then I'd lose out on one LOTG. Hmm... Could take the movement slot from Combat Jumping and maybe give Tough more end cost reduction.

If I'm going to help someone make a build, I often have them take a "first stab" at it and lay out what kind of build goals and must have powers they want. That way when I make a build for them (which I typically send privately) the person can compare their build with mine and hopefully gain a better understanding of various ways to slot things to hit their goals.
That's my attempt at making people more confident and self-sufficient in game.
I see. I wonder why you didn't ask me for one.
At any rate the picture lists what I took as I journeyed to 50 as far as what abilities were taken.

Have you happened to post a Energy Melee/Psionic brute build?

Post a build, bro, with your travel powers and powers you'd like to be using.
In my build request thread you would like me to post a build? I'm a little confused.
I typically prefer Super Jump and Combat Jump is usually useful. I assume Tough is a must-have given how squishy the set can still be even with it slotted with plain IOs.

I forgot to mention it was for a Gaussian proc. And yeah, Boxing and Weave are just mules.
If you want to throw a build with the powers you want I can look at the slotting but it should around this sort of thing.
Well, I don't think you can skip much in Psionic Armor, as far as Energy Melee I suppose Power Crash/Energy Punch can be skipped - but what would you do with the combo personally to make it rock? If you are willing, I put it here.

Having it not be normal would be nice.
