  1. Great feedback Rikis! I am a Robot/Dark/Mace MM with a focus on to-hit Debuff, fear & holds. Alpha Intuition will end up being my choice (for the reasons above). I did not consider Agility as the vast majority of my abilities already recharge as fast as their duration and have zero endurance issues now. Judgement Settling on Void Destiny Is a really tough choice, I think the only option is to get them both in game and feel which plays better Interface Diamagnetic... I am imagining that adding a to-hit debuff/-Regen proc to battle drones faster attacks will be far superior than a dot. I am assuming the dots do not stack, so each time a dot is cast on a target it just overwrites the previous one. With that assumption when fighting bosses/AV the -Regen and to-hit debuff's in combination with my own abilities will be a better choice. Lore Straight damage pet is the only choice... Agree with your assessment of AI not reliable on support bots, which requires AOE. My MM however play the support bot role. Hybrid Support choice made based on the information you provided!
  2. For me at least here are my choices based upon Nyghtmaire's comment. Questions: 1. Does anyone know the difference in Lore-Pets? & I choose damage only pets for 5 minutes over "+Buff pets for 3 minutes", because I prefer the extra time over unknown buffing AI 2. Does the Hybrid Assault power chance for additional strike work on pets? However I think Support is probably an easy call (if your pets are not up and working not doing any damage) 3. Judgement powers, between the two I have listed, does anyone know if the Knockup effect will effect bosses? If not, I assume the -Damage will which would make an easy choice 4. Destiny powers, does anyone know the % def & res from barrier and/or Secondary effect boost from Clarion? Alpha (Intuition has the edge for my build) Musculature Radial Paragon For all powers: Increases Damage, Immobilization Duration, Defense Debuff, Endurance Modification, and Run Speed effects by 33% and To Hit Debuff effects by 20%. or Intuition Radial Paragon For all powers: Increases Hold Duration, Damage, Slow Movement effects, and Defense Debuffs by 33%, ToHit Debuff effects and Range by 20%. Judgement (leaning Void) Void Radial Final Judgement Wide PBAoE Extreme DMG(Negative Energy). Recharge: Very Long. Significantly reduces the damage of affected targets for a short time. or Mighty Radial Final Judgement Wide PBAoE Extreme DMG(Smashing). Recharge: Very Long. Causes massive Knockup to affected foes. Destiny (Hard Choice) Barrier Core Epiphany Wide PBAoE Ally +DEF(All), +Res(All). Recharge: Very Long. The continuing buffs from this power will gradually lose effectiveness over time before they expire completely after 120 seconds, but more of the power's strength will last the full duration. "from old forum" Barrier Core Epiphany: +90% RES/DEF first 10s, 32.5% next 20s, 7.5% next 30s, 5% last 60s (120s total), 60ft radius or Clarion Radial Epiphany Wide PBAoE Ally Status Effect Protection, +Range, and secondary effect boost. Recharge: Very Long. The continuing buffs from this power will gradually lose effectiveness over time before they expire completely after 90 seconds. "From old fourm" : +mag 36 status protect (18 KB protect) for first 22.5s, 6 (3 KB) for next 22.5s, 3 (1.5 KB) for last 45s (90s total), +80% range/special first 22.5s, +20% range/special next 22.5s, +10% range/special last 45s (90s total), 60ft radius Interface Diamagnetic Radial Flawless Interface Adds a to hit debuff proc (50% chance) and a regeneration debuff proc (100% chance) to most damaging attacks. Lore (Anyone know the difference?) Warworks Core Superior Ally Draws forth the essences of a vanquished WarWorks Mk-VI "Victoria" and ACU from the Well of the Furies to serve you for 5 minutes. or Robotic Drones Core Superior Ally Draws forth the essences of a vanquished Assault Drone and Laser Drone from the Well of the Furies to serve you for 5 minutes. or Clockwork Core Superior Ally Draws forth the essences of a vanquished Clockwork Dismantler and Builder from the Well of the Furies to serve you for 5 minutes Hybrid Assault Radial Embodiment While active, this power gives all of your damaging powers a very high chance to strike again for a large portion of their damage in Energy damage. Equipping this Hybrid power grants a passive boost to Damage at all times. or Support Core Embodiment While toggled on, this power provides a small boost in Damage, Accuracy, Defense(All), and Special to all leaguemates within a 50 foot radius. Up to five Support Hybrid powers can stack on a single target at any given time. This boost is doubled in strength for pets. Equipping this Hybrid power grants a passive boost to Endurance Discount at all times Information on Incarnates I have found https://web.archive.org/web/20120905141218/http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=257011 https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,2038.msg12529.html#msg12529 https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Incarnate_System
  3. Intuition & Musculature Radial seem like the best choices in Alpha for my build.... question is does the damage bonus work on the pets? Are there any known best for each selection as well as known duds? Feedback appreciated.
  4. 49 will be 50 today
  5. I am new to MM.... and it is fun
  6. Thanks friend ... But I need to keep it simple or I will stop having fun... 3 buttons is all I can use... ;D
  7. Thank you... VERY much but I see F2 "protector defensive attack" I do not want Protectors to attack in F2. Should that be Battle Drones instead? And I place those in the chat line.... do I need to do that each time I load the game or will it save them?
  8. I have never done macro's or binds in game before... Yes I know how is that possible **BRUTE FORCE** :P... In searching for explanation on how macros/binds work all I can find is very complex discussions.... I want to keep this simple. I am looking for three binds/macros that do the following: F1 All Bots defensive mode, All Bots attack my target F2 Battle Drones & Assault Bot, defensive mode, attack my target F3 All Bots defensive mode, follow me I want my bots in defensive mode (bodyguard & not bodyguard but controlled targeting) most of the time and if I want them in aggressive mode the rare time I can select it manually. So what I am trying to do is avoid the advanced pet combat window mouse selection in combat and have a single key F1, F2, F3 perform these commands. Is this possible? Is it simple to do ... can someone who understand Macros/Binds be kind enough to assist me. Thank you in advance for any help
  9. Great information.... thank you all! I did some testing... not comprehensive but enough for my purposes.. KB to KD not required on Protector bots which is very helpful
  10. That is true! ;D I just hate missing.... and If I miss 1/2 out of 10 instead of 2/3 out of 10 like everyone else I am very happy.
  11. While leveling.... none.... and Dark blast abilities need 2 ACC in each as Dark does miss more than other powers (especially noticeable while leveling), my standard was 2 Acc, 2 or3 Dmg, 1 EndRed and/or 1 Rech. And that slotting is solely dependent upon your rotation, that there is no waiting.
  12. While this is obviously true. There has to be basic understanding as to what is required and what is not. Examples: 1. Accuracy. MM's have Supremacy & tactics (usually) if that is the case how much additional accuracy should be slotted? I have been told none, 26.5% and a minimum of 50%. One of these answers has to be closer to accurate (Pun intended) then the others. 2. KB to KD is required only on Assault & Drone. 3. A Defensive IO is routinely placed on Protector Bots, why to boost what? 4. Chance for Build Up should be placed on Drone (because there are more of them), on Assault bot because its the heavy hitter. 5. Endurance Reduction how much is suggested as a minimum and why? Does anyone have a basic understanding of these issues/questions?
  13. So I have posted on Reddit, talked on Discord and everyone has a different opinion.... There are some examples I have seen but nothing clearly explained
  14. Made a Robot/Dark MM (love Dark Miasma) and for the first time investigating the Pet Set Enhancements. I see 3 sets Blood Mandate (yellow), Sovereign Right (Brown), Soulbound Allegiance (Purple) and then "Recharge Intensive Pet set Expedient Reinforcement (Brown). Which sets should go in: Battle Drones Protector Bots Assault Bot Also is it advisable to slot the sets as is or 4 slot them and add KB to KD, Def IO's in Protector Bots as an example etc...? I have searched the forum for any information on these questions and why I see set enhancements slotted, no real discussion on these questions. Also I am torn on my Patron Power/Epic Pool Power, I think the choice is between Soul Mastery & Mace. Any feedback on those two and/or is there another suggestion that you think would pair well? Thank you in advance for any advice This is my current draft of robot set slotting... feedback appreciated Level 1: Battle Drones (A) Edict of the Master - Defense Bonus (3) Call to Arms - Defense Bonus Aura for Pets (3) Expedient Reinforcement - Resist Bonus Aura for Pets (5) Expedient Reinforcement - Accuracy/Damage (5) Blood Mandate - Accuracy/Damage (7) Blood Mandate - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance Level 12: Protector Bots (A) Mark of Supremacy - Endurance/Pet +Resist +Regen (17) Command of the Mastermind - Recharge/Pet +AoE Defense Aura (19) Sovereign Right - Resistance Bonus (19) Sovereign Right - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance (21) Blood Mandate - Accuracy/Damage (21) Blood Mandate - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance Level 26: Assault Bot (A) Soulbound Allegiance - Chance for Build Up (37) Soulbound Allegiance - Accuracy/Damage/Recharge (37) Blood Mandate - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance (39) Blood Mandate - Accuracy/Endurance (39) Soulbound Allegiance - Damage (39) Soulbound Allegiance - Damage/Endurance
  15. I have decided to abandon Gravitational Anchor for my final build. I have decided its not the best choice
  16. I'm pretty sure that dmg buffs don't apply to judgement. They don't seem to on my /kin or /time. You are correct. No buffs from powers appear to work with incarnates.
  17. Anyone familiar with Gravitational Anchor: Chance for Hold? Trying to understand its special effect gives a "6 or 8 sec mag 2 hold", however it is being used by a power that is already a Mag 3 hold. So is it an additional chance for a hold, A chance for a 2 and a 3 on a AV/Boss as an example... a stack... now a Mag 5 when it procs or does it overwrite the mag 3 and is useless?
  18. First let me explain, trying to decide on the best slotting for Life Drain for my build. LD is in my rotation as a damage spell as it is a high damage spell, with a heal. I used Banished Pantheon sorcerer type mobs for testing (daemons and mummy's etc... have a high resist for Negative Energy). No Enhancements Heal 112.44 Damage 83.6 Heal 3 Enhancements Heal power 42.4% 21.2% 26.5% Heal power (Nictus) 201.4 6 Enhancements Heal 3 above + 21.2% & 26.5% Heal power (Nictus Full set) 216 Damage 3 Enhancements Damage power 26.5% 26.5% 21.2% Damage Power (Thunderstrike) 139.9 6 Enhancements Damage power 3 above + 21.2% 21.2% 26.5% Damage Power (Thunderstrike Full set) 160.92 There are of course other reasons to slot one enhancement over another (Defensive bonuses as an example), however this shows clearly the diminishing returns of enhancements. I knew it existed and have seen it play out before, this test however is interesting to me as it makes me think a little bit more about the choices I make, to think about 6 slotting for set bonuses, and what the losses for doing so especially on a dual use power might be
  19. Will Bio's matter at all in the judging?

  21. Just got all my my Incarnates today T1 or T2 except Hybrid a way to go on that..... Decided I will chill on any respec until July give myself time to be sure I know what I want to do. Also going to keep my incarnates at T2 until I am sure I selected the ones I want. Right now If I was going to respec I would drop hasten, grab maneuvers, drop one slot from Dark embrace and two slot Howling and Maneuvers. I am sure by the end of June I will have changed my mind ;D Alpha : Cardiac for Range, damage resistance & endurance reduction - My Endurance is fine except when fighting really long AV/Elite Boss fights going to build on my strengths Judgement: Cryonic like cone attacks... However the idea of Soul Drain Void+Blackstar calls to me Destiny: Clarion for the range, status protection Lore: Cimerorans Interface: Diamagnetic for the Regen & to hit debuff
  22. I look everytime I do a costume contest.... almost nobody has a bio and those that do, give a five word bio or cut and paste a known origin story,... really disappointing That is one of my motivations for sharing to inspire!
  23. I made changes to my build after the original post, After running with my sets for awhile.... I have found zero Endurance issues. Also, I only use Hasten to speed recovery of long CD powers as my combat rotation has no need for Hasten. Strongly considering respecing out of Hasten for Maneuvers or bringing back Moonbeam (after snipe change). Also with my recovery being so high, when the hasten crash happens it almost immediately fills back up. Howling Twilight is a power I did not truly understand until recently. When I respec I will add slots (taken from what?) and use it offensively, Its a great feeling when you learn something new! How would you slot Howling Twilight as an offensive power? Dark Consumption I now rarely use now that I have all my sets. Its 3 slotted with for the set recovery boost. With my sets as I am currently running I rarely ever have Endurance issues. ONLY time I do is when I am fight a solo AV/Elite Boss and the fight takes too long... then I am screwed :P I also added another KB protection so I am at 8 instead of 4 as I found 4 to be insufficient Final build what I am running now Level 1: Gloom (A) Thunderstrike - Accuracy/Damage (3) Thunderstrike - Damage/Endurance (3) Thunderstrike - Damage/Recharge (13) Thunderstrike - Accuracy/Damage/Recharge (19) Thunderstrike - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance (39) Thunderstrike - Damage/Endurance/Recharge Level 1: Twilight Grasp (A) Touch of the Nictus - Accuracy/Healing (7) Touch of the Nictus - Healing (7) Touch of the Nictus - Accuracy/Endurance/Recharge (43) Touch of the Nictus - Heal/HitPoints/Regeneration/Recharge (43) Siphon Insight - Accuracy/ToHit Debuff (46) Siphon Insight - Accuracy/Endurance/Recharge Level 2: Dark Blast (A) Thunderstrike - Accuracy/Damage (5) Thunderstrike - Damage/Endurance (5) Thunderstrike - Damage/Recharge (13) Thunderstrike - Accuracy/Damage/Recharge (19) Thunderstrike - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance (46) Thunderstrike - Damage/Endurance/Recharge Level 4: Tar Patch (A) Tempered Readiness - Endurance/Recharge/Slow (9) Pacing of the Turtle - Endurance/Recharge/Slow (9) Curtail Speed - Endurance/Recharge/Slow Level 6: Combat Jumping (A) Luck of the Gambler - Recharge Speed Level 8: Tenebrous Tentacles (A) Trap of the Hunter - Accuracy/Recharge (11) Trap of the Hunter - Chance of Damage(Lethal) (11) Trap of the Hunter - Accuracy/Endurance (15) Trap of the Hunter - Accuracy/Immobilize/Recharge (21) Trap of the Hunter - Immobilize/Accuracy (39) Trap of the Hunter - Endurance/Immobilize Level 10: Super Jump (A) Blessing of the Zephyr Knockback Protection Level 12: Night Fall (A) Positron's Blast - Accuracy/Damage (15) Positron's Blast - Damage/Endurance (23) Positron's Blast - Damage/Recharge (23) Positron's Blast - Damage/Range (25) Positron's Blast - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance (39) Positron's Blast - Chance of Damage(Energy) Level 14: Howling Twilight (A) Recharge Reduction IO Level 16: Shadow Fall (A) Steadfast Protection - Resistance/+Def 3% (17) Steadfast Protection - Resistance/Endurance (17) Steadfast Protection - Knockback Protection (36) Red Fortune - Defense/Endurance (40) Red Fortune - Defense (50) Red Fortune - Endurance Level 18: Boxing (A) Empty Level 20: Fearsome Stare (A) Nightmare - Accuracy/Endurance (21) Nightmare - Accuracy/Fear/Recharge (31) Nightmare - Accuracy/Recharge Level 22: Darkest Night (A) Dark Watcher's Despair - To Hit Debuff/Recharge/Endurance (37) Dark Watcher's Despair - Recharge/Endurance (37) Dark Watcher's Despair - To Hit Debuff/Endurance (48) Dark Watcher's Despair - To Hit Debuff Level 24: Tough (A) Aegis - Resistance/Endurance (25) Titanium Coating - Resistance/Endurance (45) Impervium Armor - Resistance/Endurance Level 26: Life Drain (A) Touch of the Nictus - Accuracy/Healing (27) Touch of the Nictus - Accuracy/Endurance/Recharge (27) Touch of the Nictus - Chance for Negative Energy Damage (29) Thunderstrike - Accuracy/Damage (29) Thunderstrike - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance (50) Thunderstrike - Damage/Endurance Level 28: Petrifying Gaze (A) Lockdown - Accuracy/Hold (31) Lockdown - Accuracy/Endurance/Recharge/Hold (36) Lockdown - Chance for +2 Mag Hold Level 30: Weave (A) Red Fortune - Defense/Endurance (31) Red Fortune - Endurance (36) Red Fortune - Defense Level 32: Blackstar (A) Obliteration - Damage (33) Obliteration - Accuracy/Recharge (33) Obliteration - Damage/Recharge (33) Obliteration - Accuracy/Damage/Recharge (34) Obliteration - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance/Recharge (40) Obliteration - Chance for Smashing Damage Level 35: Dark Consumption (A) Efficacy Adaptor - EndMod/Accuracy (37) Efficacy Adaptor - EndMod (40) Efficacy Adaptor - EndMod/Accuracy/Recharge Level 38: Hasten (A) Recharge Reduction IO (42) Recharge Reduction IO (42) Recharge Reduction IO Level 41: Dark Embrace (A) Aegis - Resistance/Endurance (42) Aegis - Resistance (43) Aegis - Psionic/Status Resistance (50) Titanium Coating - Resistance/Endurance Level 44: Soul Transfer (A) Recharge Reduction IO (45) Recharge Reduction IO Level 47: Soul Drain (A) Adjusted Targeting - To Hit Buff/Recharge (48) Adjusted Targeting - Recharge (48) Adjusted Targeting - To Hit Buff/Endurance/Recharge Level 49: Dark Servant (A) Accuracy IO Level 1: Sprint (A) Run Speed IO Level 2: Rest (A) Recharge Reduction IO Level 2: Swift (A) Run Speed IO Level 2: Health (A) Numina's Convalescence - +Regeneration/+Recovery (45) Numina's Convalescence - Heal (46) Miracle - +Recovery Level 2: Hurdle (A) Jumping IO Level 2: Stamina (A) Performance Shifter - Chance for +End (34) Performance Shifter - EndMod (34) Endurance Modification IO
  24. Dark Blast Powers Dark Blast: Excellent Gloom: Best DPS you have Moonbeam: I respec out of this at 50. No need in my in combat rotation & just as a pre-combat snipe a waste of a power (after the snipe change might take another look) DarkPit: There is no point to this power, none, no good case can be made. Worthless. TenebrousTentacles: A solid hold with a wide cone+Damage+DeBuff... Terrific NightFall: You just held the mobs with TT now you get to hit them all with one power! Torrent: So situational its not worth taking. Always something better to take LifeDrain: Part of your combat rotation, does BIG damage, not just a heal. Blackstar: This power is so much fun. I play my corruptor close to melee range, when the tank has aggro, pop soul drain, Blackstar, & watch the mobs fall. Dark Miasma Twilight Grasp: Not just a heal, -Regen & a debuff too SPAM IT TarPatch: Not just a slow -Res more damage for all! DarkestNight: Overrated power, I use like everyone else! :P HowlingTwilight: Not just a team rez, has a disorient, -Reg, -Recharge. Can be used offensively ShadowFall: Incredible power can walk by mobs without aggro, along with Def buff Fearsome Stare: Misunderstood power, a powerful fear along with a powerful -tohit debuff. Even if you do not fear the mob, it gets the -to hit debuff PetrifyingGaze: I like this power and use it quite often. Effective in teams with other control powers & solo picking off dangerous adds. BlackHole: While useful in some situations, not worth taking, it has only one effect, a timeout Dark Servant:A fine solo pet (as long as you are ready for it pulling mobs from across the room). One slot with Accuracy. NEVER use in a group Dark Mastery Dark Consumption: + Endurance, was an essential power before I got my enhancement sets, now considering respec out, will keep for now Dark Embrace: Take essential power Oppressive Gloom: To use you need to be in melee range, your tank needs to have aggro, the disorient is weak & has no other effects, worthless Soul Drain: + Dam use before Blackstar & while doing straight DPS, must be around many mobs, if you like to stay out of the fire, using hover, might be skippable Soul Transfer: DEAD, hit button, you comeback invulnerable, with the biggest stun in the game to all mobs in range... A must have power
