  1. Please! If you see something you like, DM me and I'll send over the costume file. You can always work backward to create your own take on it.
  2. Thanks! It looks like pretty much each of her (very) different costume slots makes someone happy, which makes me happy. Also, I watched someone in Atlas Park slowly match me. It was funny, because she kept going back and forth from the tailor, trying to get my look just right: She did not return my tells, which were friendly.
  3. I saw you too! I think I saw something I liked on a toon of yours and did a getglobalname and was like: "oh, that's Trike. That makes sense."
  4. Here's Operetta. I've been working on her for a while. I'm beginning to get happy with both her looks, which come pretty much in two forms: Venetian Carnivale or French Rococo:
  5. I used /getglobalname to identify the thief. Would you like me to wait until they log in and then harass them a whole bunch? I guess I could spam them with buffs every time they try to emote something.
  6. These look great! I had never considered making it look like a furnace. I had always struggled to make it look like a cockpit. Nice!
  7. I'd love to see it! I need ideas for further costume slots. Give me a sneak peak of it when you can!! 🙂
  8. My intent was not so much to match it perfectly to a particular jellyfish (although see below). More that having a white face was not nearly as striking. I'm definitely a Batman's rogue's gallery type of person; the heroes and the villains who own those names have merely donned a moniker. But good question!
  9. That's definitely one of the styles I was going for here!
  10. Here's my mech attempt, Turret.
  11. Next up is Jellyfish! Alas, I haven't been able to come up with many alternative costumes for her, but I'm struggling hard in that arena.
  12. Hey there! Showing off another costume that I'm personally happy with. This is EIephant, who won an animal costume contest award for the Excelsior shard.
  13. Now I wish he always had a beard.
  14. I've won a few of the Homecoming costume contests, but those have become a bit more uncommon of late. I figured I'd show off a few of my costumes, starting with Lady of the Dead.
  15. Oh, snap!
  16. In the link, which describes the 2021 Costume Contests. Costume contests will no longer be held every month. Instead, they will be held four times a year - the dates/themes for which will be announced in advance. The remaining 2021 Costume Contests will be held on the following dates. Saturday, May 15th - 9PM UTC Theme: Anniversary (Any theme or style - bring your best overall) Saturday, July 17th - 9PM UTC Theme: Folklore, Fables, and Fairy Tales Saturday, October 17th - 9PM UTC Theme: Praetorians (Special! 2-player team contest. Come dressed as the primal and praetorian versions of your original character)
  17. You gave me directions for how a Praetorian can get to a costume contest. I'm asking about the Praetorian Costume Contest that the Devs scheduled for October 17th, which is distinct from the Incognito Contest the devs scheduled for October 16th. Which I presume they'll make into another contest later on, but wanted clarification.
  18. Right. But: Saturday, October 17th - 9PM UTC Theme: Praetorians (Special! 2-player team contest. Come dressed as the primal and praetorian versions of your original character)
  19. Will the Praetorian special costume contest be moved to a different date or will there be two back-to-back Homecoming Contests?
  20. I've been away for a month on military work, so I also scrambled to have something competitive. Arc ID: 43316 Time's Arrow (of Love) @Peacock When William Shakespeare wrote his romantic comedy, "A Midsummer's Night Dream," he chose to set it in Ancient Rome. Mayhap the story he told was merely a retelling of actual events. Perhaps, indeed, it took place on a small peninsula by the name of Cimerora.
  21. Yeah, I feel the exact same way. And like you, I recognize that this might be a real challenge. I'm curious to see how people make it work.
  22. Despite the title of the contest, it looks like they want you to focus on one color. Although complementary, triadic and other colors can be added as a minor accent. That being said, I did not know this page on the wiki existed and I am happy that you led me to it.
  23. They usually post that when they announce the overall winner from the individual shard finalists.
  24. Hi there! Here's my submission for the AE Contest! Arc ID: 35205 Arc Name: OG - Original Gamester Author: @Peacock Number of Missions: 3 Description: Have you been naughty or have you been nice? That's the question that the Gamester wants to know. He's checked his list once and he's checked it twice, and now he's going to have you roll the dice. Partake in a multiple choice adventure that explores this winter staple's origin story.
  25. Honestly, it's difficult to delineate the difference between someone dressed up as an animal versus one that is dressed up as an animal-related mythological figure. Is that a minotaur or someone dressed up as a cow? My two INF is that we shouldn't have tried to make that delineation in the first place. I was one of the other finalists with you and I adored the costume.
