Based on the question i would recommend the following suggestions as just a personal opinion:
- Try some of the new arcs in dark astoria through ouros. I pick these because the stories are really interesting. You can adjust challenge settings such as buffed enemies, no ancillary powers, and you can adjust the notoriety level you are fighting at. You wouldn't believe how hard it can get on +4x8, enemies buffed, player debuffed with no inspirations or deaths.
- try soling a task forces with applying challenging settings such as the above
- you could try switching to an alternate build on your character with different powers you aren't used to to throw you out of your comfort zone
- try a archetype with powersets you havent never used, i cant tell you how different I had to play when i switched from always playing melee to a controller!
- badge hunting is always a challenge since some are hard to get (iTrails, master of tf's etc...)
- i like soloing tf's or even getting groups together and trying to beat my time for speed runs.
These are just some of many suggestions, among many others. This game can be as hard as you want to make it for yourself.
Hope this Helps!

Pretty Much what Beul said. Another thing to note is it does not act as a heal, if your at half HP, you will notice that it wont heal your Hit Points back but you will see temporary hit points show up over your existing ones.

95% sure that something TRYING to hit you creates fury, because when I've played a brute that had a mostly defense-based secondary I didn't notice a difference in fury generation compared to a resistance-based secondary.
Yea i was thinking the exact same thing!

I was told about this a couple days ago, but it took me a couple to figure it out.
/Enter_base_from_passcode <basepasscode>
ex:
/enter_base_from_passcode warpzone-4141
No need to buy the base transporter, takes you right into a base you have the passcode for from anywhere I've tried it so far.
This is neat, what if your base doesnt require a passcode.

Good to know, i have seen my damage go over 500% in incarnate trials but i was never sure it it was actually doing anything, ill look in to it!

I was debating this combo for a while. Its much easier to build for defense with ios than it is for resists IMO. I think if you were to build this right and softcap your defenses, it could be a quite a powerful combo. When you do get hit you have the high regen to heal it before the next attack gets though. Late game, defense debuffs would have the potential to melt you haha.
I ended up building a savage/bio as i have never played it.
I think that you could make this combo work amazingly, it would just require a very thought out build and probably lots of influence.

From what I have read, the higher your fury is the faster it will decay. This was to fix the fact that cury used to be able to be maintained close to 100% on a consistent basis. Now anything over 70-75% you will notice fury decays quicker.
I'm not sure what exact formula is but i believe for every check against getting hit, or hitting something it will generate fury. It would be great to know if you actually need to get hit for fury to proc or if avoiding the attack still counts. I also believe the max fury is 200% not 400%. I believe 400% is the damage cap for brutes
Please someone correct me if im mistaken

Those are available from the Candy Cane vendor in the Pocket D ski chalet.
The real question is how Piyerus got ahold of the Halloween event badges early!
Awesome thanks! I know the zombie ones can be done through the zombie event in rogue isles but im not sure about the others

So is there any clarification of how to spawn the paladin currently?
I was in High Park yesterday killing clockwork on rooftops that were zapping power boxes. I was thinking that could trigger it. it did not
Or do you still have to go to the old Vidiot map locations outside the event area throughout kings row and kill the relevant clockwork. Then go back to the High Park area to see if the event bar has the cause mayhem notifications etc.. on the event panel

I was also looking for this badge, in Leonardo's check list of all current badges it's listed as an exploration badge for Cimerora, but I can't find it, I'm wondering if it's listed incorrectly on the checklist as there is a vet badge of the same name.
If this hasn't been figured out yet (i haven't read the whole forum) this is in Cimerora on the giant wall with the big gates. I believe it directly above the two gates for the final mission of itf up on the top platform. ill confirm tonight when i log in with coordinates

If you having troubles with endurance there are many ways you an fix it. Looking at your slotting is the main one. I would ask advice over in the brute forums with your current build if you have pines.
Because SR has a lot of toggles, the end drain can be quite high if you don''t slot it right. A couple suggestions :
- look at incarnates (cardiac alpha slot / ageless destiny slot) to reduce your end costs for powers
- Focus on sets that add to your %recovery
- add some unique io's that can give you +end such as miracle +recovery or performance shiter +end
- look at slotting ios that have end reduction included in them such as luck of the gambler def/end red vs def/recharge
- last resort... carry delicious blue candies
Hope that helps!

Im curious if there would be a way to have one of the side mouse buttons, every time its clicked to cycle through the teammates
example: /bind mouseButton 5 “teamselect 1$$teamselect 2$$teamselect 3$$teamselect 4"
I know the above wont work but im curious if there is a bind that could get it to cycle. will experiment when i get home

I myself am running a savage/bio as i never played either, lots of fun. I was running a tf with a savage/sr the other day and she was just ripping mobs apart. I may reroll to sr just because im already testing bio on a tanker & scrapper
-
its been fixed, did this a few weeks ago at lvl 50 in the hollows and i got the badge pretty quick
-
From what I have heard ice outbeats fire in single target DPS. Fire is more damage overall for multiple enemies. I believe blizzard does way more damage than inferno as well when slotted properly and with scourge

Im finding this thread more useful for ideas building and slotting up my ill/cold than another one i was reading which derailed pretty fast. Shes only lvl 16 atm but seeing some of these videos is getting me excited :D. I also don't power level and try to run just content so it may be a while.
Excited to see what other tricks you all have up your sleeves ;D
-
Cheers! Not very obvious :P ill try this when i get home

Any idea if you can turn on +5 enhancement boosters in pines? Im curious to see how my totals change with incarnates bypassing diminishing returns with +5 on all my ios

Im debating between the following builds based on this thread...
earth/dark
earth/storm
earth/nature
What would you recommend for most versatile end game usability.
Ill also be making a plant/storm or plant/nature for whichever powerset i dont use with earth. The earth troller would be more team oriented and the plant troller would be mainly teaming but ability to run my own missions. Im thinking earth/dark or nature and plant/storm would work well. I mainly played melee classes back on live so im trying something different :D
Thoughts?

Is this the thread where single-character specialists unite? Because I just got my final 7-day alignment badge and I'm stoked to no longer be locked to redside! 1300 coming soon, now!
We should all party up sometime and get the grindy PvP badges out of the way together!
Am i seeing what im seeing veteran level 154??????
Great job man

Greetings homecoming forums,
I have been messing and tinkering with my build for a while now and wanted to get thoughts on it. I am already lvl 50(+3). Im looking to build this toon for farming and end game content. This build is expensive but its my main so im not worried.
Pros:
- Capped Resists for s/l/f , around 60% to energy/neg/cold
- Decent Def without incarnates 35% s/l, 37% f/c, 36% melee and 30% aoe
- 3.7/s end recovery
- 226% regen
with incarnate abilities:
- def softcaps to most types except ranged.
- Endurance is no issue at all
- recharge goes up to perma hasten if my proc in footstomp doesnt make it already
Wanted to get some feedback on what i missed or what i could improve on.
Cheers!

Hey all,
Wondering what you think of the build below. Im trying for a hybrid farmer that is also quite capable in PVE. I used the build above as reference. I made a few changes to bring up melee, s/l def and sacrificing some of the fire def. I also brought the recharge down slightly to bring up my s/l resists to 70%
goal: wanted to maintain some single target attacks, have decent survivability while not sacrificing recharge, farmability
Let me know your thoughts!

What are my options for challenging content?
in General Discussion
Posted
Im not tying to start an argument or poke the bear but in my opinion, I think that upping difficulty settings and making content harder in a game shouldn't be considered as "nerfing yourself". You can make the content easy by putting enemies on -1x1 of course. I constantly push what my character can do and it can be almost impossible at times, so i stand my previous statement that this game is as hard as you want it to be. If the OP is not looking for this type of gameplay, this is not the game for him.
Ill leave it at that, apologies if this sounds brash.
