  1. Moving the slots to health would make more sense. Not pertinent but I always thought health and Physical Perfection gave the same regen bonus but I just looked in Mids and I was wrong, Health gives 40% while Physical Perfection only gives 20%. Looks like I'll have to re-think builds now and slot Health and Stamina over Physical Perfection. Probably just slot a Performance Shifter +End and call it good.
  2. I'm aware you loose powers and what's slotted in them based on the level you exemp to. What I slot in Health depends on the build and most of my builds don't have issues with endurance so the +recovery isn't huge at that point and I usually have several other +regen bonuses early on so the +regen isn't critical either. Also, considering Numina can't be slotted until level 27 (even if attuned) it just makes more sense for me to slot something else early on. Another thing to consider is some builds like SR brutes actually benefit more from the Absorb proc in Preventive Medicine early on since that burst of absorb will really save you in the middle of a fight when your health is very low while the regen won't heal you fast enough. On this test build since Psi Armor is supposed to be so stacked with +regen and +recovery I felt and still feel the Numina proc can wait until later.
  3. Here are some screenshots of the build I was using. One benefit I get that you won't is the +def from Guarded Spin. I was testing with radio missions in PI running CoT (not really doable), carnies, and council. I also included a shot of my base resistances just standing idle outside a mission.

  5. The -Regen is a very good point. I wasn't even thinking about that as I wasn't fighting anything above Boss level.
  6. Yeah, I don't see where is says it stacks. I'm not sure if I feel that makes it bettor or worse. The more I think about it the more I feel if I couldn't create a playable build without it I'd just skip the set. For tanks/brutes it might still be worth playing since with PBAoE you don't have to worry about jumping out of a mob or something to get a better angle like you do with the cone. I guess for a scrapper it could work if you launched it as you approached a mob but that doesn't seem like a good approach for a stalker. I was testing with a staff/psi stalker at +4/8. I built it out with the sets I think would be good but no incarnates and it was playable but I just didn't get much benefit from Devour Psyche but then I didn't hop out to get a better angle for the cone either.

  8. Devour Psyche as a cone feels very, very underwhelming. I feel going with PBAoE would be a better way even if the ratio of benefit/hit had to be reduced. I was trying to monitor the +Regen and +Recovery and it really didn't seem like the power was very effective. Using it didn't feel like it improved my survivability at all. Other than that the set is pretty usable although very click heavy. I would definitely give it a go on live but to be honest I might skip Devour Psyche. That would reduce the clicks as well. Maybe just take a junk power and put the slots in Health and drop a couple Numina and a few Panacea in them.
  9. Is it possible to combine the boombox emote with a specific dance emote? I think the boombox used to do a random dance or a dance tied to each random song but now it's always just a shuffle? I recently created a toon where thematically it would be cool to consistently use certain dances but I can now either play the boombox or do a specific dance without the boombox but not both. Any ideas? Something like this should work I think but it doesn't: /bind x "Em Dance4$$Em Boombox"
  10. "Em liedown$$Em popdance" used to do it but it must have been patched out. Now I can't even combine a certain dance with the boombox.
  11. So far I'm really liking regen on tanks, I haven't tried other ATs yet but on tanks I really like it. The changes to Instant Healing/Reactive Regeneration and MoG are really nice. Having Reactive Regeneration as a toggle is huge since regen is so click heavy and the reduced activation time on MoG is a life saver. I have died so many times mid activation on my other toons it's insane. I may not have chosen the best attack powerset to test it with though. I picked Dark Melee for Soul Drain but then found I was relying far more than I anticipated on Dark Consumption. I don't think I would have that issue if I spent some time on the build though. I really didn't focus much on reducing my end consumption. In short I love the changes and am looking forward to it coming to live.
  12. As for click heavy armor sets I almost always avoid them. Which is why I seldom play rad, bio. or regen builds (regen has the other issues mentioned as well). I almost always get my recharge so that in combat I always have something ready with just 8 click abilities. With any more than that I just have wasted abilities as something is always recharged sitting idle. I'll stretch it to 10 on occasion but very seldom. Because of that I tend to take a lot of pool powers that I don't slot and never intend to use at all i.e. Super Speed, Super Jump, and Hover. Some like the Teleportation powers I don't mind because they are out of combat abilities and I just make keybinds for them. Keep the clicks light on armor. A single heal, or something like Practiced Brawler, and a single top end shield like Elude with a 3 minute duration is plenty.
  13. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll have to break him out again and try that. I started up a claws/bio scrapper 4-5 days ago and I haven't had more than a 3-4 per mob run at any level. I solo mostly at +4/8 so it's pretty easy to notice when they run.
  14. I don't know if anyone will see this as I'm very late to the party on this one but regen definitely needs some love. It's by far the weakest defensive set in the game and while yes you can eek out some +4/8 content it's just so weak why bother with it. And yes, I have played both brute and regen scrappers at +4/8 solo but they fall so far behind other sets I tend to stay away from them even though regen has a soft spot in my heart going back to the early days on live. Aside from just not being able to take a hit (understandable since this is regen not def/resist) or heal fast enough, it's far too click heavy. Excluding Revive which pretty much has to be a click, you still have three click powers in your armor set and to be effective you need them recharging quickly and your using them a lot. I get the recharge on Reconstruction down to 19 and I'm using it pretty much as soon as it's recharged. Also MoG has a three second animation for only fifteen seconds of benefit. So my suggestions: buff the regen on fast healing a little bit, make Instant Healing a toggle even if you have to reduce the healing some, and shrink the activation on MoG to maybe 1 - 1.5 seconds and/or increase the duration of MoG. I don't feel any of those changes (or even all of them together) would break anything and honestly I still don't feel they would put Regen in line with other armor sets.
  15. It's just weird that affects this character so strongly. It's one of my weaker characters and I don't have that issue on the others. I get one or two fleeing but not 8-10. Maybe it's because my damage is still pretty low right now and I just don't defeat them fast enough but I don't remember ever encountering it like this before. Even on very low level characters. And I play a new one out to 50 about once a week.
  16. I took a look at the combat log and didn't see anything in that but yes after I defeat one or two they start to run. I wouldn't think anything of it if it wasn't the whole mob or nearly the whole mob.
  17. Which it does however after they get pulled in they are turning tail and running. Maybe not on the first activation but by the second they high tail it.

  19. I don't have Fiery Embrace so that shouldn't be in the equation, that's why I thought it might be a bug. Usually I use Fold Space then Axe Cyclone followed by Pendulum which is usually catching someone trying to run away because at that point the mob is running for the hills. I'm not sure if it's after someone has been defeated or not because I'm only level 41 and still building so I'm only playing on +2/8. It seems like it's been happening ever since I picked up Axe Cyclone. The behavior is very much like a Fire/Fire scrapper's Burn patch. I am hoping this is not the intended behavior, if so I'll have to scrap this character.
  20. I've noticed with my new Battle Axe/Electric Armor scrapper that every mob runs from me. I looked at the power descriptions and under Axe Cyclone it says it causes 2.00 magnitude repel "Only using Fiery Embrace", is this causing them to run even though I don't have Fiery Embrace?

  22. I'm trying to create a bind that shows a targets location in broadcast i.e. Babbage. I would like it to be generic so it can be used for Kronos Titans, Babbage, etc. I can get it to display both name and location but not in the right order. I know binds work in reverse order and that is causing me a problem with $Target due to the $$ designating an additional command. If I use /bind numpad1 "broadcast $Target$$loc" then I get the location on one line followed by the target name. If I reverse the two I get "Unknown command $Target". Any suggestions? I'm sure someone has this already but I'm stumbling over it. Thanks in advance.

  24. I've refreshed soooo many times. I may just have to manually install the mods. There are only three that are a must have for me so it's not too bad.
  25. It downloaded fine. I downloaded to a temp directory, is there someplace specific I should download it to? The CityModInstaller folder maybe?
